A Girl’s Diary

Chapter 47 - Please, Don't Hate Me

Chapter 47 - Please, Don't Hate Me

"Ron?" I approached him cautiously. Counting the steps in my mind trying not to lose grip on

everything.

He looked up slowly putting the notebook before looking up to me.

"I-" We said simultaneously. NôvelDrama.Org owns all content.

"You go first." I sighed.

"I came here to explain everything and before you say anything I know it looks bad." You bet. He

looked deep into my eyes... oh, these green eyes that made me drown into them. "I didn't mean to

disappear on you, I was trying to solve the whole situation with my father it just... it got out of control."

I blinked away tears I didn't know were falling. "And this explains why you started dating Cinnamon how

exactly?" I asked in despise hearing a little crack in my voice. I was so full of anger and hurt.

"The manager told me to do it for a month so I thought this could get my dad off my back for a while... I

didn't think it through and I know my sorry means nothing... but I'm really truly sorry for hurting you yet

again," He put his face in his hands.

"Ron," I said, putting my hand over his arm gently. "I can't say you didn't hurt me but I love you, I really

do... and this made it hurt even more." I let my caged tears fall.

"I'm so sorry," He whispered gently dapping the tears with his thumb. I leaned my face on his chest

feeling his heartbeat.

Feeling his arms around me, I felt safer. "You know, some things are just too precious to be lost, if we

did lose them, we lose our mind... finding you in my arms again returned my sanity." I let out all my

bottled up emotions from their cage. My crying was followed by a few ugly hiccups. I sniffed trying to

calm down from this emotional rollercoaster. After drying my eyes and face from tears I was ready to

talk about the inevitable.

"I still love you," I whispered in a hoarse voice.

"So, does this mean you forgive me?" He asked with a small smile.

"Yes, you idiot." I sniffed again. "But I swear to God this is your last chance."

He looked over to where he put the notebook. "So, how did this get here?" I was a bit wearily of telling

him but it was about damn time. Something told me I could trust him. Plus, who would believe him if he

tried to reveal my secret?

No one, the answer was no one.

I moved my hands to get out my contacts only to find one of them already gone. Whoops! Looked like I

couldn't even try to lie my way in.

"It's me..." I sighed quietly, I wasn't sure he even heard.

"I... I don't know what to say," He pressed his lips together.

"I'm still Elena there's no reason to say anything. Cinnamon is just my passion, my job not my life." And

it was true, what difference did it make if I was Cinnamon or not?!

He moved closer, our noses touching. "I love you and you know I was always professional with

Cinnamon so you know I never cheated on you, I mean-" he started talking super fast making me

giggle.

"Just kiss me you fool!" I took his face in my hands initiating this heavenly kiss. Everything was so

perfect. It felt so right. Like putting the final piece of a puzzle that completed the whole thing. I felt at

home... finally!

"So wait, if you're Cinnamon... does that mean I get to kiss you even at work," His eyes lit up with

excitement.

I was about to lightly punch his arm when someone knocked on the door making me push him hard into

the floor.

"We need to talk," Mom said the moment she entered. I looked up at her with wide eyes.

"I didn't do it," I quickly replied, my hands raised in surrender. She raised a brow. Wrong answer then.

"Sorry, force of habit. Can I help you?" My sentence was followed by the entrance of Aurora. Uff! That

was a deadly duo. They took refuge of my couch while I stayed seated on the foot of my bed.

"We need to discuss your next tour, it has to be earlier than expected because of all that drama

happening," Aurora explained. I felt a bit irritated, I mean wasn't she the one who said that fake-dating

Ron would settle things down. "We can't afford to postpone it or think about cancelling so you have

three days then you have a break from school anyway so it wouldn't matter."

Three days!!! Someone tell her she was being irrational.

I remained quiet, I knew there was more and more it was.

"So, you can't really reveal to your guard who you are so Tommy is going to accompany you so that

Desmond can join," Mom said. I narrowed my eyes at her. Wasn't she supposed to discuss this with

me... before even agreeing to this with uncle Cody?!

"Anything else?" I crossed my arms over my chest protectively.

"You have training every day until the three days are over after school and Ron is coming on this tour,

so, please be prepared and cautious." Her words made me smirk like I had an inner joke with myself

because really I did.

I nodded anyway just to get her to leave because my room was not a place for business. I could always

deal with this mess later.

I watched her satisfied face as she exited with mom behind her. "Oh! Before I leave, honey, tell Ron to

get up from where he's hiding," She chuckled.

"Hello!" He said, his face flushed. Aww! He looked so cute. Could I take a picture? Yup! Definitely.

I unlocked my phone and quickly snapped a picture. "Are you staying for dinner?" She asked.

"No, I think Eli and I need to discuss a few things so we'll eat out if you don't mind," He replied.

"Of course, honey," She winked before exiting. Well, that was hella awkward.

I shook my head in embarrassment, how did she even find out he was hiding?! That woman!

"Shall we?" Ron said offering me his arm.

I looked down on my outfit. It was so dirty! "I need to change first." I waited for him to take a hint and

get out. Spoiler alert, he didn't!

I pointed at the door. "Tell me to leave and I will," He said standing awfully close.

"Leave, Ron," I said quietly.

He jumped on the bed taking me with him. "Well, I lied," He chuckled.

He was so getting it. I pinched his ear and pulled him out not pausing to hear his grumbles. "That's

what you get for your stunts." I closed the door deciding I had to shower first.

While I showered and changed, I knew Ron was getting pestered with questions from my family so that

was his punishment!

Unfortunately, when I started looking for him I found him chatting with Ian and Loca. They were all

laughing so hard, it was contagious.

"Can I have him now?" I asked smiling at how he got up so fast. "Let's have pizza!" I clapped my hands

as we exited the house.

"Your wish is my command, princess!" I giggled at his words. "But we're having it home." He smirked.

"Okay, but I'm driving." We got to my car. It was a peaceful ride, and I was excited because that guy's

cooking was on point.

"So, your tour is early..." He trailed. I hoped we could postpone this until after eating but it looked like

we were having it in the car. Perfect... note the sarcasm here!

"Yeah, but I'm not sure I'm ready to tell Aurora you know about me." I wanted to see his reaction but I

was driving. He hummed but didn't reply. I suddenly felt a bulb light in my head. "I have an idea!"

"What is it?" He asked enthusiastically.

"We're visiting your parents," I wiggled my brows while he cocked his head in confusion.

Beautiful disaster was what it was going to be... hehe!
