Chapter 352 Think It over Again
Chapter 352 Think It over Again
The nurse, whose children were already teenagers, was standing next to Daniel and timidly looking at
him.
Janet carefully looked at Daniel's arm, while the nurse was tying his bandage. All of a sudden, Daniel
asked Janet, "Jane, could you bring me a water bowl?"
'What? A water bowl? For what?'
Janet was still angry, and at first wanted to refuse Daniel, but she unconsciously followed his order and
went to the bathroom.
When he saw Janet walking to the bathroom, in a low voice, Daniel asked the nurse, "Hurry!"
"Yes, Mr. Si!" The nurse began to clean his wound and prepared the new bandage.
When Janet returned from the bathroom with the water bowl, Daniel's arm had been already bandaged.
When the nurse left, Janet quietly put the bowl in front of Daniel.
He gestured to her that his shirt was not on him.
Janet walked closer to him, and whispered, "You're hurt, and you don't need to wear this shirt now; you
should wear patient clothes. Do you want to seduce the pretty nurses with your nice shirt?"
...
Daniel pinched her cheek, and said, "Jane, everything that I've done is wrong for you, isn't it?"
"Right or wrong, it's none of my business. Isn't it?" Janet furiously stared at him, but her gestures were
more gentle.
After he got dressed in his shirt, Daniel held Janet's hand, put it on his chest, and asked her, "Do I need
to tell you whether what I've done is related to you or not?"
"... Daniel, you're such a rascal!" Daniel's warm chest made Janet blush, and she pulled her hand and
stood few steps back.
"What are you thinking of? I just want you to help me button up." said Daniel.
"..."
Now that Daniel was wounded, Janet had to help him button up his shirt.
"Daniel, are your buttons… gold plated?"
Gold plated buttons? Were his shirt buttons plated with a layer of gold? Of course they weren't,
because Daniel wouldn't wear cheap things like that. He corrected her, and said, "No, they're made
from solid gold."
"..."
After she helped him button his shirt, Janet put his hand on the bowl. Daniel asked, "Bring me some
liquid soap."
... Janet sat up and quickly got the liquid soap from the bathroom.
Sven was generous, because the liquid soap in the hospital was imported from overseas.
"Wash my right hand, " said Daniel.
Janet obediently washed his right hand, and thought 'Okay, he can't move his left hand now.'
"Wipe and dry it as well, " he said, and Janet obediently wiped his hand.
"Good girl."
When Janet was pouring the water in a sink, she realized that she was still angry with Daniel. She
should have ignored him, instead of doing so many things for him.
After she walked out of the bathroom, Janet just sat on the bed and ignored Daniel.
Daniel sent some messages to Spark Shi, and after that he stood up from the sofa and sat next to
Janet on the bed. "Darling, don't be angry with me, okay?" he said.
Janet slapped his arm when he placed his arm around her shoulder, and said, "No way! You don't care
at all about my feelings! Why can't I be angry with you for once?"
"I was wrong, I apologize, okay?"
"Hmm...you apologized pretty quickly this time. Did you do anything that I don't know of?" Today's
Daniel was different from usual, and Janet looked at him with doubtful eyes.
Unexpectedly, Daniel nodded heavily.
"I knew it! Tell me, what have you done?" Janet pouted her lips, and angrily stared at the smirking man. This belongs © NôvelDra/ma.Org.
Daniel moved closer to her, and said, "I've angered my wife, shouldn't I apologize?"
"Do you know where you went wrong?" she asked.
"Yes, of course I do. I shouldn't have saved Shirley Zheng's life." That was the thing that had triggered
Janet in the first place.
Janet became speechless, and she stared at him, and said, "No, you're completely wrong about that! I
believe you should think it over again!"
"I shouldn't have touched my wound." Daniel said the exact words that Janet wanted to hear.
"Ugh, at least it's good that you know!"
Daniel kissed Janet, and said, "Jane, if you ever cry again in the future, I'll... let you know what you'll
get!" Ignoring the dull expression on her face, Daniel continued, "I meant what I said!"
...
Yes, and of course, Janet also knew it very well. "You're bullying me!" complained Janet.
Daniel answered her reasonably, and looked at her red lips, and said, "Yes, I'm bullying you!"
"You... If you ever bully me again, I'll cry!"
Daniel didn't answer her, but instead kissed her passionately. When Janet was pressed by Daniel on
the bed, she quickly realized what Daniel wanted to do next, and reacted quickly. "No, I won't cry ever
again, wait!"
If it weren't for him, would have she still cried?
"Good girl." Daniel lightly breathed, and let her go.
She pulled Daniel up, tidied her clothes, and listened to Daniel. "I really want you to cry so that I can
'torture' you for three whole days..."
Janet immediately covered his mouth to stop him from talking, and bit him on his shoulder, which made
Daniel suddenly freeze from the sudden sharp pain.
Janet then got down from the bed and ran to the door, and said, "You stay here for now, I'll go and pick
up the kids from our house!"
'Oh my god, I have to stop, now. I can't stay with Daniel any much longer. Even though we're in the
hospital, I still risk being 'bullied' by Daniel!' thought Janet.
After Janet ran out of the ward, she found that Roma had been already waiting outside for a long time.
When she saw Janet come out, Roma immediately followed her.
The two of them drove to Leroy Manor and picked up the twins, and Janet brought them back to the
hospital.
When Daniel saw his two daughters, he cheerfully smiled, his eyes squinting with joy.
Looking at the happy scene with Daniel and their daughters, Janet was a little jealous, because Daniel
had never smiled like that to her! 'Humph!'
"Daddy, why are you in hospital, are you sick?" asked one of the twins.
"Daddy, are you hurt? I want to help you, " asked the other one.
The saying that a father's daughters are the only 'warm jacket' that he'll ever need, is completely true.
The two daughters cared and worried about Daniel a lot, especially when they saw him on a hospital
bed.
Daniel was touched by his daughters, and gently said to them, "Daddy is fine, little ones. Come here,
let's play some games together!"
Then he cleaned his table, put his computer and documents aside, and started talking with his twins.
Janet was holding the younger one, siting on the bed. Looking at the happy twins, she was touched by
the scene and instantly became happier.
In the evening, Janet got a call from Ella. "John is back home, and your father and I are preparing a
dinner. You, Daniel, and the twins should come to our place tonight, and have a nice dinner together."
"Ha? Tonight? Well... Daniel is a little busy..." Considering Daniel's wound, Janet didn't tell their parents
about it because she didn't want them to worry about him.
Daniel understood why Janet hesitated, and he took the phone from her, and said, "Ella, it's me,
Daniel."
"Well, Daniel, I didn't know you were with Jane."
"Yes, I am."
"John has come back home, and I wanted you to have dinner with us tonight, but since Jane said
you're busy, never mind about it, it's okay." Ella knew that Daniel was busy almost all the time, and she
understood.
"No, we're actually free. I'll bring them home then."
Janet pulled Daniel's sleeve to stop him, but Daniel lightly shook his head to disapprove her.
