Looking down on the young princess, soon to become queen, I can not help but feel proud. This girl is an example that the supernatural race I created can be gentle and good. She didn't even ask what the cost would be.

I will be sad to see her lose her gift, as I would have loved to see her potential grow.

"You can't take her powers. It's her fault Noah is in control." A voice said, and I

looked up.

Olivia Logan's mate is looking at me, and I smile. She has never been afraid to say what she wants, not even to me.

"But she and many others want you to come back. And I must say, I do not think the princess is wrong, and the world needs you. You have played a big role in how good your world has become."

"But I don't want it to be her that pays for it, especially not with her gift." The Queen in front of me says.

"I need to make a change, take something, or there will be no balance. And everything will be Chaos." I tell her, but I know she is stubborn. But that's one of the reasons she is so special.

"What would be enough to prevent that from happening without hurting Madeleine?" She ask.

"In this case, a power or a wolf," I answer, and she looks at me for a long time.

"Take my powers, and I never use them anyway, exactly because I know it can kill me if I do. Take them, not hers." The Queen begs me.

I look at her. I know she wants to get back, and I want her to go back. But I wonder if taking her own powers is enough.

"And if it is not enough?" I ask

"Then take my wolf. I don't want you to take something from Madeleine. Logan loves me for me, not because of my powers or my wolf. So I will be fine." She says, and I stare at her.

It is no wonder why the world needs her.

"Okay, I will take what will be needed from you. And you will get back to your family." I tell her, and a smile spreads on her beautiful face.

"Thank you." She whispers, and I see a tear leave her eyes, and I bow my head. "You welcome. Now leave me, I have work to do.

OLIVIA

I left the moon goodness in a state of shock, not sure if I should believe the last minutes. I go back to the big white tree, and I see my dad sitting there waiting. We've been talking since I got here, watching Logan and the rest of our family.

"You know?" I say, and he smiles.

"I do," Dad says.

"I am sorry to leave you again," I tell him, but he shakes his head.

"No, do not be sorry, muffin. " You belong down there again, and I'm so proud of you," Dad says as he stands up and gives me a hug.

"Thank you, Dad."

"See you, hopefully not before many years." He says and smiles before walking away.

I sit by the tree, thinking about everything that is happening. Madeleine, and her will to sacrifice her powers to bring me back. But can't let her do that, not when those powers is what she use to help Noah.

And she is young, she has a whole life ahead of her, and I don't want her to miss any of it.

I have been sitting here for a while when a warmth starts to spread in my body. I gasp as it gets to my heart, and it begins to beat, first slowly and then very fast, and I pass out.

I don't know for how long I am sleeping, but when I wake up, I am surrounded by something looking like a big diamond. Instinctively, I touch it, and it melts from around me, and I feel the fresh air noveldrama

I stand up, looking around, knowing I am at the cemetery, but I had expected that. I know that right now, it's important for Logan to be the first one to see me. And I started to walk into the forest to hide while I made my way to the house. But I don't get far before hearing heavy

paws behind me, and I know it's him.

I turn around just as I see him shift from his lycan to his human form.

"Liv?" He whispers, not believing what he sees.

"It is me, and it is really me,” I answer softly, and he stares at me as if he is scared

I'll disappear.

"How?" He asked as he came closer.

"It is a long story, and I'll explain, but ultimately, the moon goodness sent me

back," I tell him, and he starts right in front of me now.

He didn't answer but just looked at me, the way he always used to, with a love that was bigger than the universe.

"Touch me, please," I whisper.

In the next second, he pulled me close and kisses me passionately, and I feel the matebond fall back in place. When he let go of me, he looked at me and smiled.

"I do not know how this is possible, but I thank the moon's goodness for bringing you back to me. Let's go home." He says. And brings me home, not to let me go the entire night.
