An Understated Dominance

Chapter 2349

Abigail pushed off the ground and shot into the air. She quickly caught up to George as his burly frame began to descend. She lifted her long leg high and brought it down like a battle ax, striking his back with force.Owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

The impact was explosive. George, falling face-first, immediately flipped and crashed toward the battle ring like a soccer ball. As he fell, he spat another mouthful of blood.

His burly frame slammed into the hard ground with a bone-jarring impact. The force of the collision created a deep, human-shaped crater in the ring. Dust and debris exploded into the air, and rocks flew everywhere.

Despite George’s incredible defense, the force of the blow fractured his bones, displaced his organs, and left him seriously injured.

His defense would have seemed nearly unbeatable if facing an ordinary grandmaster. But Abigail wasn’t just any grandmaster. She was an ultimate grandmaster and had awakened the Phoenix bloodline.

Every punch and kick she delivered carried lethal strength that could crush a grandmaster. Yet, George could withstand even a few of her blows and still be alive, which was already beyond exceptional.

“It’s not over yet!”

Just as George struggled to climb out of the crater, a devilish voice echoed.

The next moment, Abigail’s fist slammed into his face. He was knocked back to the ground. His body hit the floor hard enough to make the battle ring tremble. His nose and mouth were crooked, teeth flying, his vision spinning as everything around him blurred.

She jumped into the pit and looked at him with a cold, fierce glare.

“You call me a bitch?”

She drove her fist into his face again.

“Trying to kill me?”

Another punch followed.

“Is that all you’ve got?”

She punched again.

“Who do you think you are?”

Abigail’s fists rained down on George’s face like a relentless storm as she continued to punch him. A harsh insult accompanied each blow.

He was beaten to a pulp, and blood splattered everywhere. At first, he reacted with grunts of pain, but soon he fell silent.

The only sound was the dull thud of Abigail’s punches landing. After an indeterminate amount of time, she finally stopped. When she emerged from the pit, covered in blood, George had already been dead for some time.

He wasn’t just dead, but he had been completely pulverized. His head and neck were gone, and half of his body had been obliterated. What remained above his waist was just a gruesome mix of flesh, blood, and shattered bone. It was a horrifying sight.

“Damn, what a stroke of bad luck!” Abigail spat on George’s lifeless body. Then, she wiped the blood from her face and casually walked off the battle ring.

With George’s body reduced to nothing but a mess, the outcome was clear. Everyone didn’t need to wait for Oron to announce the result.

The sight of Abigail, whose beauty was renowned, left some men in the stand feeling shivered run down their spine. They had been somewhat flippant when she first stepped onto the battle ring. Though their remarks weren’t as crude as George’s, they were still inappropriate.

After seeing George’s brutal defeat, they felt uneasy and guilty. They realized that when she took action, she was relentless and unforgiving.

If a man like George, whose body could resist blades and bullets, had been turned to mush, they shuddered to think what would happen to them. No matter how beautiful she looked, they had learned not to underestimate her.

“Nice! Well done!”

Suddenly, someone stood up and shouted. The booming voice instantly broke the silence. The applause roared like thunder, and cheers erupted all around. The atmosphere crackled with electric excitement.

“As expected from the Grand Sorceress of the Mystic Arts Order. You’ve earned my respect.”

“Haha! The Mystic Arts Order has truly brought honor to our nation. She deserves all the praise.”

“Who the heck is Dusk Titan anyway? He’s just a filthy gorilla daring to run wild in Dragonmarsh and cause trouble. He’s nothing but a speck of dust.”

“This is what you get for provoking and insulting us.”

The spectators felt a wave of relief and satisfaction. They had been simmering with anger after George insulted and belittled them, but the tournament rules prevented them from retaliating.

After watching Abigail brutally defeat George, their anger was finally relieved. Even their view of the Mystic Arts Order had improved. Whatever their opinions had been before, at least she had brought honor to the nation and deserved praise.

“Madam Penelope, your granddaughter sure is violent, but I like that,” Cyrus remarked with a rare smile. He appreciated decisiveness and ruthlessness. Such qualities matched his preferences perfectly.

“You say this is violent? If it were me, I’d make sure that big brute suffered before he died. Letting him off too easily would be a waste,” Penelope replied calmly.

Her words made his smile falter slightly while Alloy and Kaden, sitting nearby, exchanged uneasy glances.

They had almost forgotten that the real cold-blooded one was sitting beside them. Compared to Penelope, Abigail’s actions earlier seemed merciful.
