Chapter 41 Think I’m crazy?
..
“What?, alright. That isn’t funny, Janelle. You have to take injections so you will feel better”George scoffed.
“No. I don’t want.”she shook her head.
George moved towards her and bent beside hee, taking her hands.
“I know it hurts but please.. you have to be okay… for me.”he pleaded.
“Uhhh… should I just leave and come back?. I believe by then, you guys would have come to an agreement.”the doc says.
“No. She will take it now. Right, Jan?”he turned to her.
She pressed her lips together.
“Alright, I believe that’s a yes. I will be by your side, okay?.”
She nodded slowly.
George gestured for the doctor to come over and he nodded as he moved towards her.
“I will try to be gentle”he sighed, taking her hand.
Janelle closed her eyes tightly, dreadful of the moment.
The doctor drove the syringe in her bone and she yelped out.
George held on to her tightly.
Tears came running down from her eyes as she cried out.
After the doctor was done passing the liquid in her body, he removed it and she shouted.
“I was gentle. But, I think i can’t be gentle enough cause there’s no way she won’t feel any pains.”he said to George.
“I understand, doc”
He brought out some tissues and used it to wipe the spot he injected. With that down, he threw the tissue in the bin and left afterwards.
George sat beside Janelle and rested her head on his shoulder and nuzzled her neck.
“I’m sorry”he whispered.
Janelle cried like a baby on his shoulder.
“Does it hurts?, so much?”he asked but regretted it immediately.
“Maybe you should have asked for a shot from the doctor and see how it feels like”she retorted.
“I’m sorry”he apologized, running his hands through her hair.
“You promised to stay with me, right?”Property © 2024 N0(v)elDrama.Org.
“Yes. After all, I can’t leave you like this, knowing very well you’re in pains”
“As if. Now, he’s acting like Mr care”she scoffed.
“Wait. You and I both know I really care”he smiled
“Yeah, right?. And, you couldn’t take a shot for me?”
“C’mon, Janelle. It just doesn’t make any sense.”
“So, I’m stupid, right?”
“Ugh. Please, Janelle. Kindly don’t misquote me. I mean, it just doesn’t make any sense. Me taking a shot for you?. What in the world is that?”
“And, it’s official. Now, I really know that you hate me.”she withdraw her head from his shoulder and lying down
“What’s really wrong with you, Janelle?. You get angry over the tiniest thing in the world.”
“You mean to say I’m crazy, right?’
George sighed. He was frustrated.
He kept mute.
Not wanting to say anything that will annoy her further.
“And that’s what you really are saying. She’s crazy. Let her keep talking to her self like a crazy woman.”
“What can I do than say I’m sorry, Janelle. I don’t know what I did to offend you but please, let’s not fight any more. We’ve had a lot of that in the past”
Janelle seems to calm down.
“What’s wrong with me?. I think I’m finally going crazy. Are you sure the doctor gave me the right injection?. I think something is really wrong with me.”
..
The cab man stopped the car in front of the apartment and a half drunk Diana stepped out.
She gave him some notes and spun around.
She started walking towards the apartment and when she got there, she brought out a key out of her bag as she staggered forth and back. She inserted the key In the keyhole and the door creaked open.
She smiled and stepped inside her apartment, locking the door.
She collapsed on the couch and laughed, brandishing her legs up in the air.
“I’m now a free lady…. freedom alas!. But, who I’m I kidding???, alright… I’m loving this ….”she yelled.
She was seriously fighting back her tears.
It’s okay.
It had to happen anyways
They aren’t really met for each other
It’s okay.
She opened her mouth in a wail.
Why is she so unfortunate when it comes to men?

Isn’t just better to just leave love?
..
“That’s impossible”George let’s out.
“But then…”
“Janelle, please. Don’t scare me. You’re probably not feeling okay because you’re not in my arms so come here, baby”
“Ugh. Seriously?!. Quite full of yourself, aren’t you?”
“Come over here”he pouted, spreading his arms.
“Eish”she rolled her eyes
“Come while I’m still being nice”he teased.
The door suddenly went opened and the doctor face popped up with a nurse behind him.
“We have a problem”he announced, standing by the door and sweating profusely.
Janelle’s heart skipped.
“What do you mean, doc?”a scoff found its way out of George’s mouth.
“The injections… I gave your wife the wrong injections”
