Chapter 24 You are going to Die
Chapter 24 You are going to Die
Aleena only felt difficulty in breathing and her eyelids heavy.
With an effort she managed to open her eyes and found herself lying on the ground with her hands and
feet tied.
The musty smell in the air got into her nose and made her frown in discomfort.
There were several tall men standing before her, all of them looking fierce and evil.
The breath of Aleena quickened.
Her situation was terrible.
Not daring to make a move, she tried to relax and looked around for an escape route.
But there was no other way of escape except through the closed door.
She turned her eyes to the men in front of her.
The chief man saw her eyes rolling and knew what she was thinking, but he did not say anything and
let her watch it until she looked back with disappointment and said, “Enough?”
Aleena met his eyes. “Someone told you to kidnap me, right?”
“Clever.” The man said, “But I'm not going to give you the information. But I don't think you need any of
that, because --”
He smiled darkly. “You're going to die.”
The heart of Aleena suddenly became tense, “What do you want to do?”
“You are kidnapped but you are so calm, good.” The man nodded. “But I have orders to torture you in
any way that would make you more miserable.”
Aleena had her eyes drooped.
Was Daphne did that?
But she had left Travis, there was no more threat to Daphne, there was no reason for Daphne to come
to her trouble.
Rosalie? Spencer?
These two didn't even know where she was now.
Who could it be?
“Don't think who it is. It doesn't matter.” Said the man. “Get ready.”
His eyes rested on her stomach. “Honestly, I don't know what you did to make that man hate you so
much that he wouldn't let you go even if you are pregnant.”
He sighed, “Be a good man in your next life.”
Good man?
If that was the end of being good, she would rather there were no good people in the world.
Aleena was angry but laughed, “How do you know that I am not a good man? Must I have done ConTEent bel0ngs to Nôv(e)lD/rama(.)Org .
something bad to deserve this?”
The man was stunned.
“I've always been a good person.” Aleena said, “But you see what will happen to me.”
“I'm not interested in hearing your story,” said the man.
He waved his hand to the people behind him. “Go ahead.”
Aleena looked at them faintly, and suddenly there was no fear.
She just felt sorry for Travis and the unborn child in her belly.
Yeah, it seemed like she was a bad person to them.
She did not protect well the child and dragged Travis down again and again.
Perhaps death was the only relief, and the only way of atonement.
She hoped they would not meet her in the next life.
The man looked at her being magnanimous, stopped his move and said, “Why do you have such
expression?”
Aleena said, “Because I know there is no possibility to escape, so I might as well accept it.”
The man smiled, “You have backbone, so I won't torture you too much and you can end your life in a
quicker way.”
Aleena looked at him, curving her cold eyes.
...
Spencer put his foot on the acelerater.
He felt as if he had been divided into three men.
One was frantically clamoring to go faster and faster.
The second was taunting why he was in such a panic. She was just a scheming, malicious woman who
could die.
Another was rejoiced that Aleena was not dead.
In such mood, Spencer stepped on the accelerator to drive to the destination.
...
The man bent down and untied the rope from Aleena.
Aleena immediately moved her hands and feet, but found that her body weak. She was too soft to
make a little strength.
So that was why the man was so relieved to untie the rope.
“How about one knife?” The man talked to her with consultative tone, “It will be less painful.”
“Suit yourself.” Aleena turned her head away, “If you want to do it, do it quickly, don't dally.”
The man laughed at her and said, “You are so eager to die. All right.”
The man hooked his finger to the person next to him, and the person next to him immediately handed
over a knife.
“Don't stab in the stomach.” Aleena slowly closed her eyes.
The man agreed and tightened his hand holding the knife and slowly raised it.
There was nothing in Aleena’s mind.
She was going to die, but why couldn’t she recall anything?
Obviously, there were a lot of things to remember...
The man holding the knife seemed to be playing in slow motion as he fell the knife. Aleena seemed to
be able to hear the sound of the knife breaking the air.
Even she had felt the touch of the cold knife against her skin.
“Bang!!”
It was the sound of the warehouse door breaking open.
