Bride To Be Not Me (Janice and Simon)

Chapter 238

The news of Janice's training institute was spread under the pretext of guaranteed employment, leading to a surprising number of sign-ups.

Many seamstresses with only average skills were particularly eager to start, hoping to complete their training and secure a job at Prosper Stitch Group.

"By the way, Janice, what's the name of your training institute?" Myra asked.

Janice glanced at Edward before responding, "It's called 'The Woven Dreams Institute.""

"The Woven Dreams Institute?" Myra clicked her tongue. "I like it. It has a nice ring to it."

Edward paused but said nothing.

After dinner, he escorted the elders to their car before leading Janice into the Bentley. The atmosphere in the car was quiet, filled with an unspoken tension.

Edward remained silent throughout the ride. When they arrived at the villa, he quickly guided her to the bedroom, not giving her a moment to change her shoes.

He kissed her unexpectedly, catching her by surprise at first. But it didn't take long for Janice to yield to him.

Tonight, his touch was more intimate. His hands tightened around her waist, pulling her closer as if he wanted to draw her entirely into him, leaving no space between them.

As the kiss softened, Edward pressed his forehead to hers, his lips trailing to her earlobe in a gentle caress.

His voice was husky and captivating as he whispered, "What's the meaning behind 'Woven Dreams'?"

Janice's fingers curled into his shirt, her breath quickening. "We've been woven together like threads in a dream," she murmured.

Each moment, each memory, carefully intertwined... with him. It was the deepest wish of her heart.

Janice was the kind of person who valued meaningful connections. She never rushed into relationships and never ended them on a whim. If she found someone truly special, she would want to spend her entire life with them.

Sensing her thoughts, Edward leaned in and asked, "You want to be woven with me?"

Janice turned her head slowly, her eyes meeting his. "Is that possible?"

Could she have him, always?

Edward's gaze seemed to reach deep into her soul. Without a word, he placed his hand on her neck.

Moments later, Janice found herself pressed against the bed.

"Edward..."

He gently covered her mouth with his hand. "Shh, be good."

The night quietly unfolded, with the moon peeking out from behind the clouds.

Downstairs, Laura heard the door open but didn't see them. Assuming they'd had

a long, tiring day, she decided to let them enjoy their peace.

...

The next day came quickly.

At Prosper Stitch Group, Harrison greeted Edward as he stepped off the elevator, noticing he was alone. "Good morning, Mr. Moore. Didn't Ms. Smith come with you today?"

"She might not be able to make it. If there's any issue regarding Product Division, have the vice director speak to me," Edward responded.

"There is something," Harrison said. "It's all over the internet right now. People are demanding that we reopen orders for One in a Million Collective. The response has been huge, and our official Instagram account is flooded with messages.

"The most interesting part is that we got a call this morning from the daughter of a coal mining tycoon in Norva. She's getting married this fall and wants Ms. Smith to design an entire bridal set. She's offering a million-dollar custom fee."

It was essentially free advertising for the brand.

"A whole set?" Edward asked.

Harrison nodded excitedly. "Yes, one set for a million dollars. And with the

groom's, that's at least two million dollars."

"Two sets?" Edward frowned. "That might be a bit much for her."

Harrison paused.

He had expected Edward to be more taken aback by how much Janice's value had skyrocketed.

Her previous designs had only been

worth a few hundred dollars at best. But ever since she won thatnoveldrama

international crochet competition,

her worth had multiplied a

hundredfold.

Janice's name and influence had brought Prosper Stitch Group an immense

amount of profit.

And the trend was only continuing to grow.
