In the middle of the night, when the darkness is thickest and evil is strongest. Cira came out of her hiding place, from a hole hidden deep in a mountain, she had been in that place weak and almost powerless, for more than a year.

After being defeated by her sister, she only thought of one thing, the way she would get revenge on her, how she would make her suffer. Before disappearing she had sworn to her that she would take away what she loved the most and that was what she planned to do, take away everything that was valuable and important to her.

As she walked through the forest, she heard the voice of that darkness inside her, speaking in her mind.

Cira continued walking in that forest, among the shadows she heard dark noises from the creatures of the night, but she was not afraid, they were much more dangerous than any creature that could inhabit that forest.

A crack opened in the ground and a black smoke came out of it, shortly after some monsters came out of the crack. They were small and weak, but they would serve the purpose she needed them for.

There was one shaped like a bird that had red eyes and a grotesque appearance, she grabbed it by the neck, gave it the order to be her eyes outside that mountain and sent it to the royal palace of Cosset.

Cira returned to her hiding place, completely exhausted. She slept for a whole day, when she woke up, after opening her eyes, she didn’t see the darkness of her hiding place, but a beautiful orange sky, she saw the sun slowly hiding behind the mountains and she could also see the royal palace of Cosset and its tall towers rising to the sky.

That bird descended and showed her the gardens of the royal palace, bathed by the last rays of sunlight. They were beautiful, everything in that place was. Anger boiled inside her, while she had been in the dark for more than a year, her sister had been enjoying a beautiful life.

The bird flew by one of the windows and what she saw made her hate her sister even more, although it had also given her an idea to make her suffer. A girl, her sister had had a daughter and now enjoyed a beautiful family.

Lissana extended her small arms and a bright light came out of her hands, touching the bird-shaped monster made it disappear turning into ashes.

April ran to Lissana’s side, picked her up and checked her small body for wounds, but there were none. April hugged her to her chest and felt relief at seeing that she was okay and fear at knowing that her daughter’s powers had awakened, since it was not normal for her power to manifest at such a young age.

Marin woke up, seeing the queen she immediately got up.
