Belinda nodded. “Alright.”

With such a complex situation at hand, any help was valuable. She believed there was no reason to turn him down.

After exchanging a few more words with Belinda, Darwin finally left.

Once he stepped outside, his composed facade began to crack. His hands clenched into fists as a heavy feeling settled in his chest.

Sliding into his car, he started the engine and sped away without looking back.
