The python hissed loudly as it shot out another jet of flames. Wilbur scrambled to move out of the way, but the python did not seem to want to let Wilbur go so easily and chased after him.

Wilbur soared around the village in the air as the python slithered after him. It would spit out flames to burn Wilbur just as it was about to get close to him, forcing him to retreat backward faster.

Despite Wilbur's endless attempts to dodge, the flames still managed to singe several dozen holes of different sizes in Wilbur's clothing.

Whoosh!

Another jet of flames shot out as Wilbur retreated once more until he was several meters away from the end of the flames. Just as he had stopped to catch a breath thinking that he had avoided this attack, the flames extended another whopping ten meters to engulf Wilbur.

The python took advantage of this, cranking up the flames as they burned relentlessly in the air. Around ten seconds later, the flames finally went out and the python looked up. It was greeted with a cube hovering in mid-air, which caught the python off-guard.

The cube started to rumble the next second before exploding to reveal a

completely jet-black Wilbur. He summoned the historical halberd, and the scarlet python's gaze flashed at the sight.

It pounced at Wilbur, opening its jaws to bite down on him. This time, however, Wilbur did not seem scared in the slightest. He did not retreat. Instead, he flew right into the python's jaw.

Wilbur came up with an idea just as the python's flames had struck him just now. The scarlet python's scales were extremely tough and killing it from the outside was impossible. Thus, the only way to defeat the scarlet python was to get into its belly and break its skin from the inside.

Seeing the scarlet python get angry, Wilbur went along with the plan and dove right into its guts. Wilbur swung his historical halberd against the insides of the python's belly, cutting a huge hole in its body that he flew out of.

Blood gushed out of the wound as the scarlet python cried out in agony. It was not long before it drew its last breath and collapsed on the ground, lifeless.

Wilbur let out a long breath at the sight. He would have been torched to death if he had not found the scarlet python's weakness in time.noveldrama

Following that, Wilbur began to search for the formation core. He had now broken four out of the five secondary formations, and only the last one was left before he was able to enter the main formation.

The truth was that Wilbur knew that these secondary formations were nothing compared to the main formation, as the secondary formations only covered where the five wells were, but the main formation covered the entire space underneath Wrecknam.

Did that mean that the five secondary formations at the wells were borrowing energy from the main formation, forming one final, large formation?

The thought made Wilbur gasp. He did not want to believe that to be true, but that seemed to be the undeniable truth right now.
