Living With My Lady Boss

Chapter 2286

Any shells used against Wilbur would be returned to the military in the end. Not only did it not hurt Wilbur, but it also caused more harm to the military itself.

However, the homing missiles were different. The payload had special devices built in. Any changes in pressure would cause the missiles to go off immediately. Even if Wilbur had control over the spatial domain, at least the missiles would explode near him instead of getting sent back.

The powerful explosion of the missiles would also propel its fragments at extreme speed.

Dale believed that Wilbur would not be able to stop the missile fragments, which would end up cutting through Wilbur's body and killing him in the process.

As expected, several hundred homing missiles exploded when they got near Wilbur. The sky instantly lit up. Wilbur's figure was swallowed up by the fiery explosions. Nonetheless, Dale ordered his troops to keep launching more homing missiles at him.

A total of a thousand homing missiles were launched and exploded around Wilbur. Dale had used up half of their missile supply just to kill Wilbur.

However, the soldiers found Wilbur levitating in mid-air after the smoke and fire faded away. The missile fragments from the explosions did not hurt Wilbur at all. All the fragments were found levitating in mid-air alongside Wilbur. He then gathered them together into a huge ball.

He brought the ball to the top of the military camp and yelled, "Those who want to live, leave immediately! You have one minute!"

Many soldiers dropped their weapons without waiting for Dale's orders. They turned and ran because they knew the cultivator was unbeatable. Ordinary people and cultivators were from different worlds. They believe that those who did not run would only die since the Moda military had provoked the cultivator.

The soldiers had families of their own, so they were unwilling to die in vain.

"Sir, a lot of our soldiers are fleeing."

Bam!

Dale slapped the table and said, "Those damn bastards! Send someone to get them back immediately!"

"Sir, there are too many soldiers who are deserting. The ones we have left are insufficient to keep them under control. Sir, I think we have offended someone we shouldn't. He's a cultivator. We shouldn't have gone against cultivators in the first place."

Dale asked angrily, "Well, duh? What can I do at this point? I'm only following orders. If the higher-ups find out that someone breached our blockade... Oh, that would be terrible."

"Sir, I may have a solution to recover our losses."noveldrama

"What is it?"

"I heard that cultivators are forgiving. This battle isn't unforgivable, so I think if you apologize and admit your mistake to the cultivator, we might be able to put an end to this madness."

Dale looked at the vice commanding officer and turned around. He calmly looked at the pistol parts laid on the table. Then, he started to quietly assemble the pistol. He loaded a bullet and asked quietly, "Do you think he'll accept my apology?"

"Yes!"

Dale loaded the bullet into the pistol and abruptly turned around. He aimed at the vice commanding officer and shot him dead. Smith widened his mouth in shock as he watched from the side.

Dale dropped the pistol and cracked his neck. He said coldly, "No one can make me apologize in this military camp."

Wilbur looked at the soldiers running away in droves from mid-air and felt his anger subside. He could tell from the scale of the escaping soldiers that most of them were unwilling to participate in a meaningless war. Those who stayed back continued aiming their weapons at Wilbur, showering him with more bullets.

"Die!" Wilbur growled.
