LUCIFER'S HUMAN BRIDE

MOODY QUEEN 2

"Leave me alone," Lucinda snapped and walked out of the bedroom, slamming the door with a bang before making her way into the bathroom. Seeing her in that state made Hudson tremble.

Medusa rolled her eyes and walked out of the bedroom. She rested her head on the bathroom door and lightly knocked on it.

"I will be here if you need me!" She exclaimed.

"Go away! I don't need you." Lucinda scoffed. Medusa stared at the bathroom door for a moment and attempted to open it, but she held herself back.

"Go away! I want to be alone." Lucinda snapped as if she knew Medusa was there.

Medusa forced a smile as she met Hudson's gaze, who had a blank expression on his face before walking over to him on the couch.

"What's wrong with her?" he asked.

"I don't know, maybe someone got her angry at work." Medusa suggested.

"She has this killer vibe; I was scared for a moment," Hudson said, then screwed up his face. Medusa laughed and took the remote from him, changing the channel. She looked at the TV for a while and yawned, turning to look at him on the couch. She grabbed his tie, adjusting it for him.

"Um, tell me more about yourself." She said.

"I already told you about myself; we have chatted a million times; don't tell me you weren't listening." He replied.

"...I was I swear it's just that I can be forgetful sometimes." She said.

"Well, I am a businessman; I have achieved all my life goals, so I am looking for someone to settle down with," he said, his eyes lingering on her sexy lips. "I think I already found one." He said coaxingly, maintaining eye contact with her, and she giggled, lightly hitting him on the chest.

"I am flattered," she said, moving closer to him on the couch, and he wrapped his hand around her as they both focused on the television.

"I don't feel good coming to your house; I think you should come to mine next time." He said caressing her shoulder.

"Okay." She replied with a nod.

Minutes later

Lucinda finally exited the bathroom and returned to the living room, where she collapsed on the bed. While Medusa was escorting Hudson out of the house, she followed him to the stairs.

"See you around, babe." He said. She smiled at him and moved closer to him, pulling his face down to her level with his tie. She planted a light kiss on his lips and pulled away. He frowned, not satisfied with the kiss.

"See you." She said in a seductive tone and slowly let go of his hand, watching him climb down the stairs, still waving him goodbye.

Medusa sighed as he went out of sight and walked back to the house. She stomped toward the bedroom to scold Lucinda; her lips curled into a sneer as she realized that Lucinda was already asleep. She turned off the lights in the room and slept beside Lucinda, placing her right hand on Lucinda's forehead.

"I should steal a glimpse of her day." She muttered to herself and closed her eyes tightly. As she saw visions of Lucinda's day and the things she had gone through, she gasped and removed her hand from Lucinda's forehead.

"So that's why she's been moody; she's been through a lot today; this human is being unreasonable; how dare he bully, my, Queen?" she said, her brows drawn together and lowered, staring at Lucinda.

"You are so innocent and fragile, you don't know the things of this world." she said and kissed Lucinda on the forehead she adjusted the pillow and rested her head on it drifting to sleep.

*******

The morning sun was shining into the house as Lucinda walked out of the bathroom with a blue towel tied around her chest and a small towel in her right hand, which she was using to clean her wet hair.

She made her way into the bedroom, still cleaning her hair, and started tapping Medusa to wake up. Medusa growled, stretching her muscles, and turned to look at her. Medusa sat up on the bed after a drop of water from her hair landed on her face.

"Hello, Lucy, you are up early again." Medusa said, cleaning her face.

"Yes," Lucinda replied, walking over to the wardrobe. She opened it and started looking for clothes.

"Are you okay? I saw what your boss did to you yesterday." Medusa said. Lucinda gasped, staring at Medusa with furious eyes. She ran to Medusa on the bed, standing akimbo with her eyes narrowed at her.

"Did you look into my head while I was sleeping?" Lucinda asked angrily.

"Um, let me see. I did, but I couldn't help it. I wanted to know." Medusa muttered.

"Can't you wait for me to tell you!" Lucinda said with a frown.

"What's the big idea? I already know how he treated you yesterday." Medusa replied.

"This mission is mine; I can take care of it myself, and I can keep a secret. And besides, I have things under control." Lucinda said biting her lower lip.

"I can see that you have things under control." Medusa said in a sarcastic tone. Lucinda ambled back to the wardrobe. She rested her hand on a pink midi dress that had white stripes. She tossed Medusa an angry look and left the room to wear the dress.

"She has got a temper," Medusa remarked, shaking her head. When her phone beeped, she took it and stared at the message, smiling to herself.

Lucinda finished putting her clothes on and walked back into the room. She started shaking her hair in the air; her hair squeezed all the water out of itself. Medusa looked at the wet floor with her mouth slightly open. Please check at N/ôvel(D)rama.Org.

"Are you going to work with your hair looking like that?" she questioned.

"What if I am going? this way? It's none of your business." Lucinda replied rudely and quickly took a black bag from the wardrobe, checked if there was money inside, and strolled out of the house like a madwoman. She jumped on top of the roof of their house and started packing her hair in a stylish way, leaving two bangs on her face that made her look stunning.
