Chapter 2
Chapter 2
"Mom, it's done," Ysabel Lambert said proudly, as she held her cell phone in her hand.
"Vivianna, there is evidence of your affair now. If you know what's good for you,
divorce Xenophilius immediately or else I'll send these photos to a lawyer and sue you for a divorce," Xymeria Cabidis said.
Xenophilius Lambert got in his Porsche and saw a sexy figure sitting in the passenger seat. When the girl saw him coming in, her red lips curved into a smile. "Xenophilius! Did the plan succeed?"
Xenophilius stretched out his hand and pulled her into his arms. He grabbed the back of the girl's head and kissed her wildly. The girl put her hands around his neck and kissed him hard.
After a long and fiery kiss, Xenophilius smiled as he leaned against her delicate forehead.
"Jessamyn, I'll be able to marry you soon," he promised.
"Well, I have been waiting for you to say this for a long time now," she said.
After that, Jessamyn Salaway held his handsome face and took the initiative to kiss his thin lips.
On the bed, Vivianna's face was pale, and tears welled up in her eyes. The kiss marks on her body and the pain of her lower body caused her to panic and to feel uneasy. She had no memory at all in regards to the events that had transpired last night.
She picked up the clothes on the floor and rushed into the bathroom. As she cried in pain, she scrubbed her body violently. It seemed as though a strange man had contaminated her.
In the afternoon, Vivianna returned to her wedding villa in a daze. In the bright hall, Xenophilius sat there, looking like a demon. In his dark eyes, there was a raging storm. He stared at her, as if he
would strangle her to death at the very next second.
Everything she had encountered this morning was a fatal and heavy blow to Vivianna. She knew it would be useless to explain anything to him.
Vivianna looked at her husband who was on the sofa. She took a deep breath and said, "Xenophilius, I agree to a divorce, but I want 10% of my father's shares back. The other 5% is my compensation to you."
Hearing this, Xenophilius's expression changed instantly. He had just consolidated his position as the president of Lambert Enterprise. If she took away 10% of the shares, his prestige and authority would be jeopardized, and he might even be
demoted from his position as the president.
He stepped forward coldly and sneered, "Vivianna, what qualifications do you have to ask me for shares? You betrayed me and cheated on me. You want to get rid of me with 5% of the shares?" "5% of the shares is still worth over 500 million dollars. Do you think a 500 million compensation is not enough?" Vivianna argued in a reasonable manner. These shares were owned by her father in Lambert Enterprise before his death. She couldn't give them to the Lambert Family for free.
Xenophilius's eyes flashed with viciousness. He stepped forward and grabbed her by the neck. "Vivianna, listen to me. You can't take back your shares. You'll have to divorce me anyway. If you want to go to court, you will suffer an even worse fate than death."
Vivianna widened her eyes and her breathing was shallow, but her heart was in pain because of the man in front of her. His former gentleness and tenderness were gone. All that was left was his selfish desires and ambitious pursuits. However, her father's shares...
"Xenophilius... These shares belong to my father... Give them back to me," She cried hoarsely.
"Now, they are mine. You can't take them from me.
Vivianna, either sign and get out, or... I will make you disappear from this world." Xenophilius threw her onto the floor fiercely. With a stone-cold expression, he threw down a divorce agreement. "Sign it!" he said.
"I won't sign it..." Vivianna bit her lips, not wanting to leave her marriage with nothing.
"If you don't sign it, you will not only lose the shares, but also your reputation and even your life," he threatened her.
Vivianna trembled with fear. She raised her head and looked at the man who had promised to love her. At this moment, he was only ruthless, cruel, and vicious. NôvelD(ram)a.ôrg owns this content.
She almost suffocated.
Vivianna was in utter despair. She looked at the man who was driven by greed. He seemed like an evil demon. She knew that if she wanted to take back the shares of her father, she would lose her life.
"Okay, I'll sign it." She bit her lips hard and signed the agreement.
