Chapter 93 VIP Card And VIP Room
“I’m sorry, Mr. Wheeler. I didn’t know this would happen. Let me deal with it right now,” the server said
hastily. “Dear patrons, I’m sorry, but a VIP wants to use this VIP room. I’m afraid you’ll have to leave. I’ll
ask someone to move your dishes to your new table. It won’t take up a lot of time.”
Hearing his words, everyone in the private room tensed up.
Fabian’s cheeks turned crimson red, and Douglas was practically drowning in embarrassment. He had
just announced pompously that only those with high status could enter the VIP room and claimed he
knew someone who worked at Gold River Hotel. This is from NôvelDrama.Org.
Alas, the hotel wanted to kick him out of the VIP room now. He was utterly humiliated before his future
in-laws.
Douglas had been boasting mere moments ago but was swiftly given a slap in the face.
Frank and Cindy were smirking in pleasure. They didn’t like how Douglas had acted all high and mighty
before them.
Scarlett was the most embarrassed one there. She had brought Douglas here today to show Julianna
that her husband was a good-for-nothing.
But instead of humiliating Julianna, she was about to get escorted out of the VIP room. Feeling furious,
she rose to her feet and piped up, “Why? We’re paying customers, too!”
“Yes, we paid for the meal. Why should we leave? We’re your customers, not beggars. Don’t you know
that customers should always come first?” Fabian barked.
If we got kicked out today, we wouldn’t be able to face Christopher and his family, ever!
That thought alone caused him to cringe in mortification.
“Why? Because I have a VIP card that gives me priority access to the VIP room. What’s wrong with
Gold River Hotel, though? Why do commoners get to enter the VIP room? I thought only those with VIP
cards get to enter this room?” Tyler expressed his displeasure.
Christopher sipped on his drink calmly. He didn’t mind seeing Fabian, Douglas, and the like getting
shamed in public.
Douglas was flustered. He knew about the rule concerning the VIP rooms at Gold River Hotel. His
family might be rich, but they weren’t qualified to enter the VIP room. He had had to ask someone else
for help to reserve the VIP room with the intention of showing off his connections and power. Yet, little
did he expect to run into trouble.
“Uh, Mr. Wheeler, My name is Douglas Jefferson. I’m treating my girlfriend’s family to dinner today.
Please allow us to stay here. Don’t worry. I’ll compensate you handsomely.” Douglas offered a
placating smile.
“Yeah, we’ll pay you,” Fabian chimed in helplessly.
Ugh, this is so mortifying.
“Douglas Jefferson? Who the hell are you? Do I even know you? You want to compensate me, huh?
Do I look like I’m in need of money?” Tyler sneered.
He acted like the rich brat he was and refused to spare Douglas’ reputation. Indeed, he didn’t need any
compensation from Douglas.
Douglas felt so embarrassed that he wished the ground could swallow him whole. However, he wasn’t
about to give up just yet. “Mr. Wheeler, can you—”
“No. Don’t try to pay me. I’m not in need of money. Why don’t you ask around about the Wheelers?
You’ll find out how rich we are,” Tyler interjected harshly.
He was determined to kick them out of the VIP room. Poking his head inside, he glanced around and
muttered, “I can’t believe they have the guts to enter the VIP room…”
The next second, he spotted Christopher inside the room and swallowed his remaining words in shock.
Oh, dear… W-Why is he here? What should I do? Am I going to die today?
Tyler nearly broke down. He was close to tears as he chided himself inwardly for making the decision
to come to Gold River Hotel. I hate myself! Why did I come here and run into Christopher?
The sight of Christopher made his legs quake, for even Malcolm was afraid of this man, who was also
the owner of the international square.
I offended Christopher two days ago, but he spared my life. I can’t believe I’ve offended him again
today.
Fear clawed up his throat as sweat drenched his back.
