Night of Destiny

Chapter 2585

“Miss Longjohn, Miss Mayo, welcome. We have prepared our best technicians for the two of you. Please follow me.”

Harmony and Sera followed the attendant upstairs. Just as they turned a corner, they bumped into someone coming downstairs. Harmony looked up and locked eyes with the person.

It was Catalina, who was also surprised to see Harmony there.

“What a small world, running into annoying people everywhere,” Sera commented.

Catalina looked a bit disheveled. She glared at Harmony, “Can’t you watch where you’re going? You almost bumped into me.”

Harmony frowned. “But I didn’t, did I?”

“If you dare to bump into me, I will sue you,” Catalina huffed.

The attendant warned grimly, “Ms. Martin, these are our esteemed guests. Please respect our customers. We have refunded your money. You can leave now.”

Catalina’s face turned redder. She had come here to get a refund. Now, she had gone to every club she used to frequent to get her membership fees refunded.

“What’s with your attitude? I am a member here,” Catalina complained.

“Our boss has said we will no longer do business with you, Ms. Martin. Even if you have money in the future, please go elsewhere.”

Catalina’s face grew even more unpleasant. But she had indeed made a scene to get her refund. At this moment, she was holding a bag of free samples from the club, which she had become too stingy to

throw away. She used to look down on these things, but now, she could only take them with her.

“How very economical of you, Ms. Martin! Even taking away the gift bag. I remember you saying on a show that you never use free samples given by the stores,” Sera immediately called her out.

Catalina glared at Sera. “Mind your own business.”

“Sera, let’s go upstairs,” Harmony said to Sera.

Catalina was waiting for Harmony to mock her about the bag incident last time, but to her surprise, Harmony didn’t mention it. She quickly left before Harmony could bring it up.

“What happened?” Sera asked the attendant curiously.

“Ms. Martin came this morning asking for a refund. We do provide this service, but there is a process. However, she came with a lawyer and threatened to sue us. Our boss generously refunded her membership fee.”

Sera looked at Harmony and commented, “Looks like some people are starting to have bad luck.”

Harmony thought about Catalina’s past behavior. She was indeed too arrogant, which was why she was in such a mess now. Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

Harmony had her own set of principles. Even if she reached the peak of success, she would remain humble and modest, not showing off or being arrogant. Even though she could have humiliated Catalina just now, she chose not to.

After Catalina got in her car, she called Reuben to complain. “Reuben, guess who I just ran into?”

“Who?”

“Harmony. I can’t believe she came to my regular spa club now. Reuben, I’m out of money. Can you lend me some?” Catalina cooed.

Reuben comforted her on the other end, “Catalina, I don’t have any money either! I lost all my money in investments. You know I’m only acting now to pay off my debts.”

Catalina gritted her teeth in anger. When she asked Reuben for money nowadays, he always had an excuse. Back when she had money, she didn’t hesitate to buy him luxury watches and bags. Now, she had seen Reuben’s true colors.

“In that case, give me back the watch I gifted you!”

“I lost that watch a long time ago. I can’t find it.”

“You… Reuben, you…”

“I’m very busy. I have to hang up. Don’t call me if it’s not important. I’m filming.” Then he hung up.

Catalina was so angry her face turned pale. In fact, she didn’t need Harmony to humiliate her. Reuben alone was punishment sent by heaven.
