President Williams Woos His Ex-wife Again

Chapter 22 You’re disgusting!

Chapter 22 You’re disgusting!

Everyone in the presence stood transfixed by what the doctor just said.

Beth was also stunned there and trembled with cold, watching the bank card handed by the doctor.

After a moment of silence, Aaron snatched the card from Beth’s hand and hit it on Beth’s face squarely

and hardly.

This even hurt more than the slap of Mr. Johnson.

The sharp corner of the card sketched a clear bloody line on her face.

She covered her face with her hands, tearfully watching Aaron.

Aaron furiously bellowed at her, “Playing dead? How dare you fucking lie to me?”

Terminal uterine cancer? Her days were numbered?

So it turned out that this blood was her menstrual blood.

Fury of being cheated suffused Aaron’s heart, forming a ghastly murderous air around him.

He should be fooled by this woman again!

She even attempted to feign illness so as not to be divorced by him and to earn his compassion.

‘How could there exist such an unscrupulous person in the world?’

Quickly, so much thick hatred and repulsion was written on the pretty face of Aaron that he desired to

rip Beth into shreds.

Beth shook her head sharply and cast an indignant look to the doctor, “What’s this card? Why are you

framing me? I never gave this to you! Is it Kathy who told you to do this?”

Beth rush towards the doctor and grabbed his sleeves, “Say something! Who told you to do this?

What’s your purpose?”

The doctor pretended to be scared and stepped back. He said, with a bit of obvious guilt in his voice,

“Mrs. Williams, what are you exactly saying? Don’t you remember? You said that your husband was

going to divorce you and you gave me this bank card to ask us to do you a favor. You told us to lie to

your husband that you got cancer so that he would give up this plan.”

No! It was not true! She shook her head even more heavily.

The doctor must have been bought over by Kathy.

“You are a liar! Kathy must have given you money!” Beth said incoherently.

The doctor heaved a sign and persuaded her in a seemingly kindly manner, “All right, don’t be so

extreme. Feigning illness is not the only way to keep him. He will forgive you if you can confess and

apologize to him. It’s not good making such a scene between husband and wife.”

The sense of foreboding was worsened in Beth’s heart. she trembled and barely dare to look at Aaron’s

face.

“Take care of yourself during the period. Look at your pale face, you should eat less cold and spicy food

and drink more warm water.”

The pretended well-meaning words of the doctor only exacerbated the rage of Aaron.

Beth shouted crazily, “Shut up!”

Kathy really intended to destroy her! Framing her for killing her mother before and now bribing the

doctor to tell lies!

The doctor shrugged and went away.

Beth gasped and caught the piercingly cold sight of Aaron when she turned back.

Madness sprawled in his eyes, turning them into a scarlet hell.

Aaron clapped his hands and laughed.

Beth staggered forward, “I’ll explain...

She was slapped hard on her left face before she finished.

She wouldn’t give up. With her face burned with pain, she said, “Listen to...

Then another slap on her right face.

It was Aaron.

He squeezed her wrist hard, “I never hit woman and never meant to. You are the first one!”

Time and again he was cheated. She drugged him and came to marry him with a baby in her belly and

now she even feigned illness!

Aaron could not hold back his anger anymore. He pushed Beth away in a rude manner.

His suit was still tainted with her blood, her menstrual blood. The thought of this made a wave of

nausea swept over him. He looked black in the face.

‘It’s just a period! She is so skilled at pretending that he almost convinced she would die!’

Aaron took off his suit jacket and threw it right on the floor. He trod on it and went away.

“Beth, you are fucking dirty!”

He said to her before he left the room.

Dirty?

Why was she dirty?

She was not dirty...

Mr. Johnson held more repulsion towards her, “You’ve disgraced our family!”

Then he left with Aaron, leaving Beth alone in the room weeping.

She bent down and picked up the suit jacket with her shivering hands.

She held it in her chest tightly, as if through it she was hugging the boy who were standing under that

cherry tree.

He smiled to her under the tree.

“Jump. I’ll catch you.”

His gentle voice seemed to linger around her ears. She opened her eyes blankly, finding nothing and

no one around her.

Her lip turned white with pain, but with no more strength to walk into the ward.

She leaned against the corner of the wall and held this suit jacket with bloodstains.

She murmured in despair, “Beth is not dirty...”

“I am not dirty...”

“You told me you would recognize me the moment you see me again.”

Beth burst into loud sobs like a lost kid, “Why you can’t remember me?”

She was never willing to lose out to Kathy like this. So she employed people to investigate the

surveillance cameras while she waited Mrs. Johnson to come to her senses.

For Beth, the only good news during this period might be Mrs. Johnson’s condition.

She did not die. Though badly hurt, she was saved.

She hoped Mrs. Johnson would prove innocence for her so that Jacky would be released from prison.

But to her surprise, Mrs. Johnson woke up, but lost her memory.

In a VIP ward, Mrs. Johnson lay feeble on the bed. Her face went fairly pale because of blood loss. She

seemed to have her dying breath.

Beth walked in carefully.

“Let her go out.” So strange. The sight of Beth pained her so much that her heart seemed to be

gouged.

This pain almost suffocated her. One more sight of Beth would only make her out of breath.

Mrs. Johnson began to scream.

Aaron and Mr. Johnson all stood around the bed. Having seen the fierce reaction of Mrs. Johnson, they

condemned Beth immediately, “What are you doing here? Do you think you didn’t harm her enough?”

Kathy sat aside quietly. She was “blind” now. Of course she needed to play the role well.

Kathy thought she would be able to rest easy as soon as the old woman died.

But it never occurred to her that this old woman should be so fortunate that she survived several stabs.

However, she remembered nothing.

That was fine. Kathy thought she was even aided by the Heaven and she meant to enjoy high status

and wealth.

She held her guide stick and stumbled around the ward.

“Beth, please! I beg you. Please don’t stimulate my mother’s weak nerve again. I have asked father to

release Jacky. Won’t you be sorry about harming our father for the sake of a stranger?” Kathy cried.

“My mother has been so badly hurt by you. Can you just let her go?”

“I beg you!”

Kathy straight knelt down.
