Purchased A Mr. Right

Chapter 1928

Chapter 1928

The villa was full of colorful rays from the setting sun in the evening.

After Tina got off work, she went to the kindergarten to pick up Isla. Then they came to the Amery family.

Many people, including the servants, lived in the Amery family, so the villa was always very lively, especially at dinner time. Servants were buzzing around in the kitchen, and there were already many delicious dishes on the table.

As soon as Tina and Isla entered the door, the servants greeted them enthusiastically.

The servants of the Amery family liked them very much. They thought that Tina was gentle and polite to anyone. And Isla, smart and lovely, won everyone's favor wherever she went.

In the living room, Lin and Abby were with Old Madam Amery.

As expected, Old Madam Amery treated Tina coldly, but it didn't matter to Tina.

In the Amery family, Bil, Old Master Amery, and Lin treated her well, bringing her the warmth of family ties. Old Madam Amery was so picky about Ovia, so she could only be more prejudiced against Tina. Fortunately, though she had a bad temper and a mean character, she could say awful things with a cold face and was incapable of doing evil things to others.

However, when Old Madam Amery was with Isla, her wrinkled face was full of smiles, and her eyes were glued to this little girl. From now and then, she would give Isla some snacks.

A few minutes after Tina sat down, a servant came up and told them that dinner was ready.

Old Madam Amery invited Isla to go to the dining room with her.

They were together in the living room, which was near to the dining room. When the servants went upstairs to call Bill and Old Master Amery, they took their seats and waited for the dinner to start.

Isla was beside Old Madam Amery.

Tina was not worried about that because she knew that Old Madam Amery loved Isla.

However, Abby's family status seemed to have dropped a little bit. Initially, it was her who sat by Old Madam Amery's side, but now Isla was sitting between them.

Tina and Lin sat beside them. When Tina looked up, she met Abby's eyes.

Then, both of them looked away calmly.

Tina frowned slightly.

Because at that moment, she seemed to have seen a vicious glint in Abby's beautiful eyes.

Footsteps came from upstairs.

After a while, Old Master Amery and Bill walked into the dining room.

Old Master Amery sat in the host's seat at the table while Bill sat next to his wife, Lin.

Tina smiled and shouted, "Grandpa, Dad!"

Isla followed suit and called them grandfather and great-grandfather in a crisp voice.

Old Master Amery smiled and said, "You must be hungry. Let's start dinner!"

It could be considered as a family gathering.

Old Master Amery picked up the white spirit and poured it into the cup in a good mood. Seeing this, Bill, Lin, and Old Madam Amery looked a little worried.

Tina couldn't help saying softly, "Grandpa, your blood pressure has been a little high recently. You'd better drink less!"

Old Master Amery didn't feel like ignoring Tina's kind voices. He nodded reluctantly and said, "Well, you're the boss!"

Everyone felt relaxed.

After that, they picked up their chopsticks and ate in the lively atmosphere.

Since Old Master Amery sat down, Abby's eyes were fixed on him. After she patiently waited for a long time, he didn't get furious. Abby could not even find a trace of anger on her face.

Nothing unpleasant had happened.

How could it be?

Abby almost blurted out, "Grandpa..."

Old Master Amery was stunned by her sudden shout. "What's wrong?"

Abby realized that she had lost her composure, so she swallowed her words and smiled faintly. Then she shook her head and explained, "No, I'm fine! I want to say that the seafood stew is good. Try it. You'll like it!"

Old Master Amery nodded with a light smile and did not take it seriously.

Tina couldn't help casting a glance at her again.

When night fell, the dinner was over.

After dinner, Isla was stuffed. As soon as she left the dining table, she took Tina's hand and ran to the bathroom.

When Tina came out of the bathroom with Isla, Lin came over and said, "Bill asked you to go to his study. He has something to tell you!"

Tina nodded. "Yes!"

She left Isla with Lin and went upstairs.

In the study, Bill was waiting for her. After Tina knocked on the door and entered, he showed her what was in the desk drawer.

It was the envelope that Old Master Amery received in the afternoon.

Tina took out the photos and her face froze.

Bill said, "My father received this anonymous letter. When he saw it, he hurriedly called me to the study. Before he burst into anger, I told him that your agreement with Amin when you married."

After hearing the inside story of their marriage, Old Master Amery was also very shocked, but he also breathed a sigh of relief.

Tina said apologetically, "I'm sorry, dad. Sorry to bother you two!"

"Why can you say that? You made a sacrifice for our family at that time. Otherwise, the Amery's Group might have bankrupted now!" Bill frowned. Then he paused and said in a serious tone, "But since the photos were sent here, I am afraid that someone wants to hurt you. You'd better be careful!"

Tina nodded. "Sure, I will!"

The living room downstairs was filled with Isla's happy laughter and cheerful voices.

Isla and Lin were playing with LEGOs in front of the window, while Old Madam Amery was watching them. Sometimes, she would be amused by Isla's childish words.

Abby found it hard to join in them.

It seemed that she was less and less important to this family and even Old Madam Amery.

However, Abby had no time to think about the change at this time. Overwhelmed by depression and anxiety surging in her heart, she could not stay there with a flattering smile. She got up and went to the side hall.

Abby was wrapped up in hatred.

The expected ugly scene did not appear at all - Old Master Amery did not even mention the photos.

The Amery family, especially Old Master Amery, had high moral standards. Abby thought that he would definitely fly into a rage and severely criticized Tina upon seeing the snapped photos. However, she was greatly disappointed.

But it had never occurred to her that...

Neither Old Master Amery nor Bill said a word about it.

They covered up for Tina.

Sure enough, Tina was related to them by blood. Abby thought about it resentfully. She was sure that if it were her, Old Master Amery would harshly punish her.

She was devoured by envy and hatred.

Abby wouldn't give up like this. This was just the beginning. Since Bill and Old Master Amery chose to protect her, she could only do something more ruthless. Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.

She called someone and said in a low voice, "Pay more attention to the whereabouts of Mr. Stark recently!"

When Abby went back to her room, she happened to meet Tina, who was going downstairs from the study.

Tina touched her pocket, which contained the envelope that Bill had just given her.

His eyes turned cold.

Wilson had told her about the photos, but they didn't expect that she not just gave it to Amin but also sent one copy to the Amery family.

They might not know who was behind this, but Tina knew it very well.

Tina was very sure that Abby had contributed a lot to her forced marriage with the Stark family.

It was time to settle accounts with Abby.
