Pursuing My Ex Wife in Full Blooming Spring

Chapter 273

Jonas saw Charles and Naomi coming out of the police station before getting into a taxi. He picked up his phone and made a call. "Go and check why Naomi is at the police station tonight."

"Okay."

Jonas ended the call and looked at where the taxi left before looking at the police station. He then said, "Let's go."

Olivia had just returned to the hotel when she received a call from the police station, asking her to make a trip to the station. Naomi actually called the cops!

After the call ended, Olivia angrily threw her phone and her bag on the floor. She had never felt this furious before.

Three years ago, when she found out that Scott was going to marry a woman inferior to her, she had someone look into Naomi.

She knew Naomi and her family like the back of her hand.

Yes, the Goodwins were proper people. Although they were not considered wealthy, they had a clean record. There was not a single dirt on their family.

Olivia knew why Scott's grandmother chose such a family. Even if the Goodwins were not a great fit in terms of status, they were a simple family. Naomi's family fit the bill perfectly.

Of course, Naomi's family was not that terrible as well, but they were no match for the Lawsons or Carvers.

Olivia wanted to find something to latch onto, a mistake or a scandal of Naomi and her family, so that the Lawsons would call off the family, but she found nothing.

Besides those that she could find, the Lawsons surely would have found out about it. They were perhaps even more detailed than her.

That was why Olivia had no way of interfering with their marriage.

Not to mention the fact that Scott had rejected her. Back then, she was prideful. She confessed her feelings to him and that she was willing to be with him and get married to him as long as he wanted to. To her shock, he rejected her. How, then, could the prideful Olivia stand his rejection?

Olivia decided to back down and let him marry another woman so he would regret his choice. She was so sure Scott would lament his choice...but she turned out to be on the regretting end instead. Olivia regretted being too proud. She should not have pushed him to another woman. She should have broken up the marriage one way or the other.

It was pointless regretting it. He married another woman, that being Naomi and shared his bed. He was even intimate with her, too. Olivia was furious at this fact, and she was seething mad with jealousy S

Thus, she left the country so that she could be rid of them.

However, she still could not stop herself from finding out about him and his life. Later, she found out that he was often on business trips and rarely at home. Even if he was home, he would not stay for long.

Olivia's anger subsided slightly at this, assured that Scott did not love Naomi at all. He only married Naomi to obey his grandmother's wish. It was then Olivia started to gain confidence. She believed that he would not last long with that woman. They would surely split up one day. Sure enough, three years later, they got divorced. They did not even have a child.

Could she read it as he was not even willing to touch Naomi? Because Naomi was not the one that he loved. She was the one that he loved. Olivia was sure Scott married Naomi because he was angry at her. He had been angry about that matter ever since.

Three years later, he was finally not angry anymore, so he divorced Naomi.

Olivia had long waited for this chance, and she was going to start anew with him.

Still... Why, even after three years, had he still not let that matter go? Especially Naomi?

She truly underestimated Naomi.

In the three years that she was in the Lawson family, everyone said that she was a great daughter-in-law. She was kind and caring, not to mention a great wife. Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.

Olivia assumed Naomi was a meek and obedient person. From the way she spoke to her just hours ago, however, that was clearly not the case.

Naomi was manipulative and scheming. She pretended to be innocent and naive when she was still vying for Scott.

Not only did she want Scott, but she was also leading Charles along as well. What a scheming woman.

Olivia thought about the scene at the restaurant and how Charles protected Naomi. Even Connor was on Naomi's side, standing up to her. How amusing.

Olivia was so furious that she laughed. Her eyes gleamed maliciously.
