Chapter 4

Chapter 4

"Why didn't you reply my message yesterday?" I continued to fast walk along the school corridor, with Jungkook following closely behind.

Since I didn't respond at all, Jungkook traps me in a tight embrace, his arms firmly wrapped around me even though I struggled to slip away. The both of us wrestled until I gave up.

"Aish! I muted it because you were sending me so many messages" I answered him, slapping his biceps so he would let go.

"can we just hurry up and do the class chores already?" I glared at him with a murderous intent in my eyes. Jungkook smiles sweetly at me, tucking a hair behind my ear.

"okay, Soojung. I'll let you go when you answer this question?" He proposed, and I just nodded without a choice.

"Are you wearing the polkado-

I hurriedly covered his mouth so he couldn't continue.

"It's stripes today." I answered nonchalantly. I'm a tad bit surprised how fast I could get used to his bullshit.

"Okay, stripes is good too." He replies with a straight face.

"Dear god, please never pair me up with him again" I said my prayers seriously and wiped away our names under morning duty.

"Dear god, please keep pairing me up with Soojung" I heard Jungkook behind me who also prayed in front of the blackboard.

"Dear god, please let Jeon Jungkook stay away from me within a 2 metre radius" I prayed again.

"That will never happen, I like being beside you" Jungkook places a hand over my head, ruffling my hair gently.

"So even if I fart alot you'll still stay close to me?" I took off the hand that rested on the top of my head.

"I fart alot too"

"Even when I don't shower for 3 days?"

"Then I won't shower as well so we stink together"

"you're so persistent"

"I'm stubborn with the things I like." he smiles.

"Jungkook, have you prepared for the elections?" I coughed slightly at the dust that accumulated on the duster.

"I have half the school's guaranteed votes already" he leans onto a desk, gazing at me intently.

"And I don't even have a single vote promised." I sighed in defeat, knowing fully the outcomes of the election.

"You do actually." He suddenly says, and I paused my actions.

"I voted for you."
