Every one of the captured Gods and natives of Adversia, upon hearing these earth-shaking battle cries, trembled. Many gods felt disheartened, thinking, This time, the Gods are probably done for.

Late at night, the memorial ceremony ended.

The large army dispersed in an orderly manner.

Nathan also returned to the temporary command center.

He had just settled down when Colin rushed in to report, "Commander Cross, we have a problem."

Nathan looked up at Colin. "What's the matter? Why are you panicking?"

Colin reported truthfully, "I just received news that Medille learned of Yelena's death in battle and is furious beyond measure. He has forbidden the Gods' army to rest and is traveling day and night to Adversia to wage a decisive battle against us."

Upon hearing this, Nathan was initially taken aback, but then he chuckled lightly. "In that case, we can bide our time and defeat them in one fell swoop."

Colin, however, was not as optimistic. He said, "Gods are naturally powerful, and Medille is known as the strongest in the universe. We must be careful in our response."

Nathan nodded, "You're right! We

must never let our guard down at

any time. Please gather Eve, Marcus, Hepburn Dido, Toothless, and the others. Tell them that the enemy is approaching. I intend to discuss with them our strategy for defense."

Colin said, "Understood!"

In no time at all, Hepburn and the others arrived one by one.

Nathan first explained the situation to everyone, then said, "Gods have dominated the universe for a long time, and they have always waged war using spaceships. I guess they haven't engaged in a large-scale ground war for a very long time. Coincidentally, ground warfare is exactly what we earthlings excel at. Now, it's time to teach them a lesson!"
