Max chuckled softly as he casually placed the hyper-realistic mask on the table. Taking a seat, he grinned. "To avoid arousing suspicion, I had to disguise myself. I apologize for the theatrics." Lucius' gaze sharpened as he inquired, "Max, what is your purpose for being here this time?"

With a playful smirk, Max replied, "Initially, I came to discuss a potential partnership. However, as soon as I entered, I overheard your conversation. If you're looking for information about Nathan's movements, I can certainly provide that." It became clear then. As an elite vampire, Max possessed exceptional hearing, allowing him to overhear Lucius' discussion as soon as he entered the house, thus learning about the predicament Lucius and his group were facing. Lucius asked suspiciously, "Can you obtain Nathan's schedule?"

Max chuckled and responded, "That shouldn't be a problem."

"How can we be certain of your intentions? If Nathan sent you to deceive us, wouldn't trusting you be walking into a trap?" Lucius questioned.

Max laughed lightly. "You have armies monitoring everything from above, don't you? The Divine Realm's space army is currently limited, with only a small number of spaceships ready for battle. If I were to deceive you, wouldn't I fear that your powerful space army would retaliate to avenge your grievances?"

Lucius responded with a derisive sneer, "I'm glad you recognize my power."

Max then said, "To demonstrate my genuine intent to collaborate, I will obtain Nathan's latest itinerary for you. It will be delivered tonight. Given Nathan's current state of injury, your collective force should easily overpower him. His defeat will prove my sincerity. After that, we can begin our alliance."

Lucius' pulse quickened with anticipation.

He nodded slightly. "Very well, we will trust you this time. But be warned, if you betray us, we will take you down first and then fight our way out of the Divine Realm."

Max responded with a noncommittal chuckle, putting the hyper-realistic mask back on before leaving.

That night, true to his word, Max discreetly arranged for Nathan's schedule to be delivered to the Four Emperors.

He had cleverly obtained this information from Lyanna, and eager to share it, he swiftly passed it on to the Fourth Emperor.

They noticed that Nathan's recent movements were mostly confined to the Imperial City, alternating between the Divine Palace and military headquarters. These locations, heavily fortified, were not viable targets for an assault.

opportunity the following day at noon. Nathan planned to leave the city for Mount Snowcrest, located a hundred miles from the Imperial City His purpose was to visit the Gods' sacred Snowcrest Sanctum on the mountain.

Snowcrest Sanctum, revered among the Gods, housed the memorial tablets and frozen remains of their esteemed ancestors and heroes. Many retired God elders chose to live in seclusion there, simultaneously guarding the sanctum's sacred contents. Nathan's visit to Snowcrest Sanctum appeared to be aimed at appeasing the Gods. Having recently taken control of the Divine Realm, he likely sought to quell any potential rebellion among the Gods by assuring them of his leadership.

Lucius slammed the table with

determination, declaring, "There is no need for further debate. Our moment to act is when Nathan heads for Snowcrest Sanctum. If he is as injured as Max suggests, we must seize this opportunity to eliminate him. If Nathan had not been weakened, our only option would be an immediate retreat. We must avoid revealing our identities at all costs and certainly cannot risk being captured by him."

Mentzer and the others nodded in agreement.

A sinister smile then appeared on Lucius' lips as he continued, "Furthermore, attacking while Nathan travels to Snowcrest Sanctum works to our advantage Whether we succeed or fail, the Gods could easily be blamed for the ambush. If Nathan is attacked near Snowcrest Sanctum, he will likely suspect the Gods, never suspecting our involvement."
