Chelsea froze for a moment, “Dad, I’m not fussing for nothing. I just felt Hayden came back without any good intentions, you should be careful not to be fooled by her.”

The coldness in Bentley’s face melted instantly. He bent down and picked Stella up, then headed downstairs, “Okay, let’s go eat cupcakes.”

On the other side, Sofia was carrying a cup of tea upstairs. She heard Bentley on the phone through the study door.

“Mr. Lennon, I leave this to you then. The transfer of the rights to the shares must be made public, but the transfer of the real estate can be done as soon as possible.”

“Yes, you are right. I am sure to transfer everything into my granddaughter’s name. If it goes to Hayden, she might not be willing to accept it.”

The next morning, Hayden was busy preparing breakfast at the dining room table.

He took a deep breath when he saw the door to Alayna’s room open.

“Wow, meatballs, I like it.”

To Alayna it looked like nothing had happened. She sat straight down in a chair, simply picked up a dumpling and popped it in her mouth.

Hayden folded his arms, “Nothing you want to tell me about last night? This is the first time I’ve seen that uncomfortable look on Kevin’s face before he left.”

Kevin was the popular lover of the ST Group. His face was always lit up bright with happiness, but when he walked out of Alayna’s room and saw Hayden, he actually blushed. It was such an abnormal scene!

Alayna looked stagnant and her eating pace became noticeably slower, “It’s just that we drank too much last night. what’s there to say?”.

“You didn’t take it seriously?”.

Hayden spoke decisively, “That’s fine if you didn’t take it seriously. I don’t know Kevin, and I’m not sure what kind of person he is. However, his reputation is not good, his girlfriends are everywhere in N-City. I’m afraid, if you really fall in love with him, you won’t be able to accept it.”

“It’s about our previous show. We just cut and aired a trailer, the response was incredibly good, so I asked the boss to continue this show. Would you like to consider letting Stella sign a long-term contract with us?”

“Oh, long term?” Hayden immediately shook his head, “That won’t work. I still have to go to work and I can’t let Stella go alone.”
