Chapter 672 Vera is Angry at Theodore
Vera picked up Theodore, walked to Patrick's study, knocked on the door, and said, "Honey, Dad will be here soon. When you're done, come out quickly."
After speaking, without waiting for a response, Vera carried Theodore downstairs again.
The living room of Cherry Villa looked a bit larger than that of The Olteran Manor. With just the three of them living there, the space felt significantly more spacious. The living room of The Olteran Manor was also quite large, but with more people living there, it appeared crowded.
A thick white cushion was laid on the noble and cold marble floor, making footsteps silent.
Three or four servants were busy in the house. When Vera appeared, a servant placed some fruit on the table for her to eat.
Seeing this, Theodore immediately threw away the teething toy in his hand and wanted to gnaw on the big apple.
"You don't even have teeth yet, and you want to eat? Wait until your teeth come out first." Vera picked up the teething toy Theodore had thrown on the sofa and handed it back to him. "Keep gnawing on this."
Theodore looked at the teething toy he had thrown away and refused to take it.
After a while, Patrick appeared, bent over the sofa, and picked up Theodore from the cushion.
Patrick held the soft and chubby Theodore with one hand and sat next to Vera. "Why is Dad coming over?"
"What else could it be? There's probably no one at home to play with him. He's bored and came over to find some fun," Vera said while munching on an apple.
Theodore's eyes were fixed on Vera's mouth. He could hear the sound of Vera chewing the apple, and his drool dripped onto his onesie and the back of Patrick's hand, who was holding him.
Patrick took a tissue, wiped his hand, and then wiped Theodore's mouth. He smiled and said, "Theodore is drooling because he's craving the apple."
Vera handed the apple she had taken a few bites of to Patrick's mouth. Patrick opened his mouth and took a bite from the apple in Vera's hand.
Theodore sat on Patrick's lap, looking up at them, feeling frustrated that they were eating without letting him have any.
Theodore watched them, feeling so angry that his little body stiffened, and he was on the verge of crying.
When Vera handed the apple to Theodore, his expression immediately changed from one of preparing to cry to one of excitement. He opened his mouth and leaned forward, ready to bite the apple.
At this moment, Vera pulled the apple back. "No, you can't eat it."
Seeing this, Theodore's mouth pouted, and he was about to cry again.
"Here, you can have it," Vera said, handing the apple back to Theodore, teasing him.
Theodore opened his mouth, and his crying expression disappeared as he eagerly tried to eat the apple.
Vera, enjoying the game, pulled the apple back again, took a bite, and kept chewing. "I'm not letting you eat it."
Patrick watched the pitiful Theodore with a smile on his face.
Theodore started crying, this time for real, with tears streaming down his face.
At this moment, Shawn arrived. "Theodore, I'm here."
Hearing Theodore cry, Shawn felt a great sense of responsibility and knew it was his time to step in.
Shawn walked over, picked up the aggrieved Theodore, and said, "There, there, tell me who upset you this time?"
Shawn said, "Are you crying because you missed me?"
Shawn held Theodore and said, "Don't cry, don't cry. I'm here to keep you company."
Vera laughed so hard her shoulders shook. She thought it was fortunate that Theodore couldn't understand, or he might cry even harder from being teased by Shawn.

Later, Vera looked at the apple she had taken several bites of and didn't want Theodore's little mouth to touch it.
So, Vera picked up a big apple from the table, opened her mouth wide, and took a big bite out of it.
Patrick watched Vera take a big bite and asked, "Vera, doesn't it hurt when your mouth cracks?"
Vera shook her head. "No, it doesn't hurt."
Vera stood up, holding the cleanly bitten piece of apple, and walked over to Theodore. "Stick out your tongue. You can only lick it to satisfy your craving, no biting, understand?"
Theodore looked at the piece of apple and stopped crying, his eyes fixed on it.
Vera tapped Theodore's lower lip with her index finger, encouraging him to open his mouth.
Vera touched the apple to Theodore's tongue, letting him taste it. Theodore moved his little mouth, wanting more.
When Theodore tried to bite, Vera quickly pulled the apple away.
Shawn said, "Vera, let him eat it. He can't really bite it anyway."
Vera pinched Theodore's chubby chin, showing Shawn the white line under his gums. "He can. Theodore is starting to get teeth. When he drinks milk at night, he bites me so hard I cry. Last night, Patrick even scolded him for biting me with his sharp little teeth."
After a while, Vera let Theodore taste the apple again, but then she stopped letting him have more. She took the apple Theodore had licked and ate it herself.noveldrama
Vera took Theodore from Shawn's arms and said while chewing, "Dad, don't hold Teddy anymore. He's almost 20 pounds."
Shawn shook his arm. "No wonder my arm got sore so quickly."

"Dad, is there no one at home to play with you?" Vera asked.
Shawn sat on the sofa and complained to Vera, "Randall isn't home, and Susan doesn't
know how to do anything. She went out to find Randall."
Vera glanced at the displeased Patrick. "Where did Randall go?"
"Who knows? Susan doesn't even know if she found Randall."
At Zandonick Library, Susan entered the building, exploring the study area and searching row by row for Randall.
The quiet library was filled with sunlight streaming through the windows, making the interior bright.
Susan's searching behavior made others think she was looking for a suitable place to sit. Many people moved their bags from empty seats to make room for her.
However, Susan just glanced at the seats and walked past them.
"Excuse me, sir, could you help me get that book from the top shelf? I'm too short to reach it." A soft, delicate voice came from between the bookshelves, making it hard for anyone to refuse.
Randall was leaning against a bookshelf, reading a book on computational theory. Hearing the voice, he turned his head to look at the girl standing beside him.
The girl blushed under Randall's gaze. She bit her tongue lightly in front of him and then pointed to the book she couldn't reach. "It's right there. I've tried several times but can't reach it. There's only one librarian at the entrance right now. Could you please help me?"
Randall looked around and saw that there was indeed no one else. Since he was tall, it was easy for him to get the book, so he reached up and took the heavy book down for the stranger, then turned to leave.
The girl thanked him and then followed Randall, asking, "Are you a programmer?"
"No."
"Are you a college student? Which school do you go to? It's my first time at this library,
and I don't know where many of the books are. Do you come here often?"
What do you think?
