The CEO’S Unplanned Heir novel (Aurelia and Leopold)

Chapter 101

Chapter 101

With a cold snort, a wave of chilling severity flickered across Leopold’s face. “Only a fool would dare to

spread rumors about me!” he snarled.

Aurelia, rendered speechless, took out her lipstick to cover her swollen lips, a souvenir of his recent Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!

kiss.

“Why are you punishing me like this today… I didn’t make you mad, did 1?” she asked, her voice laden

with confusion.

His icy gaze hardened, a silent storm brewing in the depth of his eyes.

Every time he saw her with Arnold, a rage ignited within him, causing him to lose control.

“From now on, if you need anything, you come to me. Don’t go to Arnold!”

“Huh?” she paused, taken aback by his command.

Approach him and risk being mocked to death? She didn’t have the courage for that!

“If there’s no meeting, I’ll just get out of the car now.”

Leopold gripped her chin, forcing her to look at him.

His expression was stern, radiating an air of authority that couldn’t be denied.

“Don’t take my words lightly.”

“I didn’t… I remember everything you said.” As Aurelia prepared to leave the car, she found the door

locked.

Leopold secured her seatbelt, then stepped on the gas, driving away.

She felt dizzy. “Where are you taking me? My brother is still on set!”

“Isn’t Arnold taking him to dinner tonight? Why are you worrying?” Leopold said coldly.

Feeling defeated, Aurelia took out her phone and messaged her brother and Arnold on WhatsApp,

informing them she had to return to the hotel to handle something.

On set, Arnold’s eyes flickered with an icy glint upon seeing her message. Avery approached, looking

frustrated, “Arno, your brother is a workaholic, isn’t he? He can’t even let my sister enjoy her vacation

in

peace?”

Arnold sighed softly, “He’s always like this, never considering others.”

In his memory, Leopold was a chilling figure, his face always icy, void of emotions.

No one had ever managed to affect his mood, until Aurelia came into his life….

Avery sat next to him, scratching his head. “Arno, do you… like my sister?”

Arnold fell silent.

Three years ago, in a vast field of flowers, Aurelia emerged from the blossoms and walked into his

vision. From that moment on, she became the most special girl in his life, the most beautiful model

under his lens. However…

His gaze fell on the western sky. The setting sun was cloaked by a thin layer of clouds, its brilliance.

dimming.

His eyes mirrored its gloom.

This silence made Avery’s heart knot with worry, “I was just asking casually, don’t take it seriously. My

sister has been single all her life, she’s never been in love. I’m worried she might end up alone.”

Arnold lowered his gaze, a bitter smile tugged at the corners of his mouth. “A girl like your sister, any

man would be lucky to have her. Why would she end up alone?”

“I’m afraid the one she wants to be with, doesn’t want to be with her.”

Avery lowered his head, his voice barely above a whisper, sounding more like a monologue.

Arnold’s hesitation deepened Avery’s worries.

If neither of the brothers wanted to marry her, what was she to do?

Leopold drove to the seaside.

The setting sun cast a golden glow over the sea, shimmering waves creating a picturesque scene.

Aurelia was taken aback, “I thought we were going back to the hotel? Why are we here?”

“There’s a good restaurant here, we’ll eat and then head back.”

“Okay.” Aurelia pursed her lips, her heart stirred like the waves of the sea.

She realized she had never had a meal alone with him.

The restaurant was open–air, right by the sea.

They enjoyed a seafood dinner while watching the waves gently lap against the silvery sand, a serene

and romantic setting.

As the word ‘romantic‘ crossed her mind, Aurelia quickly dismissed it.

She and Leopold were not lovers, there was no romance to speak of..

It was more like a business meal between a boss and his employee, that should be right.
