The CEO’S Unplanned Heir novel (Aurelia and Leopold)

Chapter 95

Chapter 95

She nearly jumped out of her skin. “What are you doing?”

Was he thinking of continuing?

Leopold gently laid her down on the bed, pulling up the duvet. “Go to sleep right now. You’re not

allowed to leave Elysium again.”

It didn’t matter if she wore herself out, but she couldn’t tire out their child.

Aurelia was all over the place. “Can you leave now? I definitely won’t be able to sleep with you here.”

Leopold shot her a glance, turned around and headed for the door, but she stopped him. “Wait, first

check if there’s anyone outside. We can’t afford to be seen.”

She’d be in hot water if they were.

Leopold was speechless. It wasn’t like they were eloping!

He opened the door, cast a look around, and the corridor was silent as a graveyard.

He quickly stepped out, thinking he’d done so quietly, but sharp eyes around the corner caught the

whole

scene.

Avery was flabbergasted. He instantly recognized that man as his sister’s big boss.

What was he doing here?

Why did Leopold come out of his sister’s room late at night?

He hadn’t taken advantage of Aurelia, had he?

With this in mind, he rushed to Aurelia’s room and knocked on the door.

“Aurelia, are you asleep?”

Aurelia was far from sleepy. Whenever she thought of Leopold, she was filled with trepidation.

Hearing her brother’s voice, she hastily threw on a loose robe to cover her baby bump..

“What’s wrong? Did you lose sleep?”

Avery’s eyes roved over her, finally landing on her red, swollen, and bloodshot lips.

There was even a trace of blood at the corner of her mouth.

“Aurelia, what happened to your mouth?”

Aurelia was mortified. She grabbed a bottle of mineral water from the coffee table, took a sip, and tried

to stay calm. “I accidentally bumped it.”

A flicker of suspicion crossed Avery’s eyes. He took out a tissue and handed it to her. “Does it hurt?

You’re bleeding.

“It’s fine. I’ll put on some lip balm.” Aurelia quickly went to the mirror and wiped off the blood.

It wasn’t her blood. It was Leopold’s.

Avery’s gaze fell on the hint of scarlet peeking out from her collar.

Was that?

His heart skipped a beat.

Had that man taken advantage of his sister?

“Aurelia, has anyone been in your room?”

He asked casually, as if it was just a passing question, but it made Aurelia instantly tense.

“No, why would you ask that?”

Avery’s suspicion deepened, and he began to worry.

He feared his sister had been taken advantage of and was keeping it a secret.

“I saw two water bottles on the table. I thought someone had been here.”

“I opened both of them. Now go to bed. Don’t forget to put on the face mask I bought you. That’s the

only way you’ll look your best on camera tomorrow.”

Aurelia quickly sent him away before he could notice anything. This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

The more she acted this way, the more suspicious Avery became.

He had to get to the bottom of this.

No one was allowed to take advantage of his sister!

In the morning, Aurelia entered the dining room and immediately spotted the extraordinarily handsome

man sitting by the window.

She had thought he had returned to Elysium overnight, but here he was.

She covered her mouth, feigning surprise. “Oh, isn’t that the big boss? What’s he doing here?”

“What a coincidence.” Arnold remarked with a suggestive smile.

Aurelia walked over, grinning broadly. “Mr. Leopold, fancy seeing you here. Are you on vacation in A

City?”

Leopold gave her a cursory glance, his expression as cool as a breeze. “Aren’t you supposed to be

working today?”

“I’m on annual leave. My brother’s shooting his first movie, so I came to visit.” Aurelia replied with a

natural smile, showing no signs of discomfort.

Avery was completely dumbstruck.

Were they putting on a show?

Their acting skills were perfect.

He even began to question whether he had hallucinated the night before.

At that moment, Leopold’s gaze turned to Arnold. “Arnold, are you here to visit too?”

Arnold shrugged. “Aurelia’s brother is my brother, too.”

A cold fight flashed in Leopold’s eyes, but his face remained impassive, betraying no hint of emotion.
