Chapter 21: 21

Chapter 21: 21

That afternoon, Elliot and I just snuggled under the sheets. We have food in his room, we have been

watching movies the whole day and have been naked since this morning. Elliot has been getting

messages but his attention was all on me. This morning was a moment of hefty delight and I could not

ask for more, except to know where this is going. This morning was a moment that I knew I want to

happen again, a moment I know that I will be craving for. The morning brought me so much delight and

it wasn’t even nine in the morning. I was not into rushing anything but for this, I wanted to somehow get All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.

a decent answer. For reasons that for now I do not know, I don’t want to solely rely on Elliot’s kindness,

him being a gentleman but Elliot hopefully has good intentions. I would love to make this work,

whatever we have and what else is there in store for us in the future.

Elliot is on the left side of the bed and he fell asleep after he cleared out the trays of food on our bed.

His phone has been beeping non-stop and unlike the last time, I did not check his phone. I stood up

and took my clothes off of the floor. I went to my room and got my phone by the stand. There were just

random messages form Instagram. I went back down stairs and I laid next to Elliot.

“Where’d you go?” he whispered while his eyes are still closed. I scooted closer to him.

“I went to get my phone from my room.” I whispered

His eyes opened and he smiles when he sees me, “What do you want to do today?”

I bit my lower lip, thinking a little. “Nothing” I said. I did want to do nothing the whole day. I just wanted

to stay in and just keep it ourselves. Keeping that in mind, I wasn’t sure if I would be telling my parents

or friends anytime soon. Sure, it’s good that this whole marriage is sort of working out, at least for what

I think my parents and friends would appreciate it but if course it doesn’t end there. This, whatever we

have, just began this morning and I don’t want to get ahead of myself and here I am looking at either

telling my friends and family or not.

I woke up with the room dark and the only source of light was from Elliot’s laptop. He is sitting right up

and his back against the headboard. Elliot was busy catching up on work, laptop on one hand and his

phone on the other hand. He sees me awake on his side and places his laptop on the side table. He

leans over to me and whispers, “Hi”

I smile in the dark and say, “Hi” back. I stretch and sit up slowly, “What are you doing?” he asked.

“I was going through the guest list of the people who will be invited to the house warming. I also spoke

to my second assistant about looking for the best caterer for the reception of the house blessing” he

said.

I reach over to look at the list and say “Let me handle this, okay? Thanks for getting things started.” He

nods and smiles, “By the way, for the condo, do we need to buy furniture or is it already filled?”

“I think the condo is ready to move into. We need to talk about the set-up at home. There are three

rooms in the condo but uhm …”

“I would like to room with you, Elliot” I say out of nowhere, not even noticing that I have said what I

said.

“You’re going to be okay with that?”

“Aren’t you going to be okay with it?” I ask him

“No, no, no, no. I mean no, I will not be not okay with it. I would be more than happy to be rooming with

you” he smiles widely. I laugh a little and nod.

“Okay then, we’re settled”

He smiles and falls silent, “How about when we move in our new home?”

I roll my eyes, “Let’s not get too ahead of ourselves” I tease.
