The Forgotten Titan's Resurgence

Chapter 23

"Gideon! What is that nonsense? Hurry up and apologize to Mr. Neely!" Elara berated.

“Gideon, right?" Shawn asked mockingly. "Listen to your wife. She knows her place. If you apologize, I'll just break both your arms. If you don't, I'll break all four limbs."

However, Gideon took out his phone.

"Oh? What's this? Are you trying to call someone?" Shawn taunted. "I'm dying to see who would dare to come to Mr. Duran's territory and rescue you."

Instead, Gideon simply said, "I gave you a minute. You have 30 seconds left."

"What?"

Shawn and the others were dumbfounded.

"20 seconds," Gideon said.

"Ten seconds!"

"Alright. Time's up! Since you're not doing it yourselves, I'll just have to help you out."

Pale with fury, Shawn snarled, "I've never met someone as dumb as you. Since you've got a death wish, I'll fulfill it for you. Get him, men!"

Gideon turned around and said, "Back away. Don't get hurt."

Elara was outraged that Gideon was being so stubborn, but when she saw the men in black rushing toward Gideon, freeing up the door, she decided to make a run for it. She started creeping toward the door.

"Gideon, let me see if you can throw a punch as decently as you can run your mouth. You'd better not go down too quickly, or you'd be a joke."

"What a bunch of noisy ants!"

In just a few seconds, Gideon dealt with over a dozen men. All of them either had their arms shattered or twisted off.

Then, he approached Shawn, who was thunderstruck. Alas, Gideon didn't hold back. He grabbed both of Shawn's arms and tugged hard, yanking them off. Blood gushed out

The blood had splattered on Nino's face, leaving him stunned and dazed.

At last, Shawn let out a belated howl of agony. Collapsing onto a pool of his blood, he rolled around and continued to scream in pain.

Elara didn't see any of this. The moment Gideon started attacking the men, she escaped from the room. She heard the cries from the hallway, but she dared not turn around to take a look. She ran with all her might and fled Monarchy Club.

Inside the room, the stench of blood hung heavy in the air. The cries had stopped, for Shawn had fainted from the pain. All was silent.

Nino was furious that his right-hand man and over a dozen of his men had been crippled. He was also shocked that Gideon was that powerful of a fighter. Just how strong did he have to be to rip off a man's arms by sheer force?

He dared not do anything rash. Tossing the cigar aside, he stood up and said grimly, "Gideon, you're aware that this counts as assault, right? If I call the police, you'll be going to prison."

Sneering, Gideon retorted, "It's ironic to hear someone from the criminal underworld talking about calling the police."

Gritting his teeth, Nino said, "Fine. I accept that I messed up today. You've already crippled so many of my men. That's enough to appease your anger. You can leave now."

"Leave? I'm afraid not.'

Shaking his head, Gideon said curtly, "I crippled them to avenge my father-in-law. I haven't settled the score over how you guys wanted to humiliate my wife."

Gideon's gaze fell on Tom. With a strange smirk on his face, he said, "You wanted to see my wife perform a striptease, right?"

Tom's hair stood on end. Resisting the urge to tremble, he smiled sheepishly. "It

was just a misunderstanding, Gideon! I was just joking around with Ella. We're old classmates. I would never do something like that to humiliate her."
