Hana understood too and snapped angrily, "How far gone are you? Tricking a civilian? If we didn't catch you, who knows many would've fallen victim to your devices in this quiet corner."

One of the men with slick hair and dressed in a suit was smirking at Hana. "That's not quite right, girl. We're just doing our jobs-and we didn't force her to take a loan, did we? Pay us if you can afford it, or hand her over to us!"

Hana smiled in wry amusement, as Slick Hair was clearly threatening them. "Do you even know who you're dealing with?"

Slick Hair snorted. "Who cares? I'm warning you in this place, I—"

Frank seized him by the neck before he could finish and flung him down the stairs!

The other men were shocked-who was that kid? He looked weak but could pick up a two-hundred-pound man without much effort. He was clearly more than what he seemed!

"You want a piece of this?!"

"There's many of us, and one of you! We're not scared!"

At the call of a man in shades, the other men all charged toward Frank but were each kicked off the floor, their screams ringing throughout the building as they fell.

Beneath the stairs, Slick Hair struggled to his feet and snapped at Frank, "You can fight, kid, I'll give you that, but you'll be gone soon enough! Just wait and see-we will kill that bitch!"

Still, he left with the other men after his threat, terrified that Frank would come after them.

Frank smirked but ignored them and gently called Rina's name.

Beside him, Hana was perplexed. "They'll come after Rina again later. Why didn't you root them out right then?"

Frank chuckled. "Just waiting for the bigger fish!"

Hana nodded in realization-she certainly was being paranoid, as Frank was no saint. He was simply biding his time until the loan shark company surfaced to really Wipe them out in a single stroke

Rina stirred just then, feeling much better after her nap aside from her splitting headache.

"You're home. Where's your key?" Frank asked tenderly.

Rina leapt off Frank's back, leaning against the door as she rummaged for her key.

After she opened it, she wobbled inside. "Sorry, it's a little cramped in my rented place."

Hana and Frank both looked inside-it really was small, but it was at least clean.

Frank shook his head. "It's nothing. Now tell me about the loan sharks-how did you get tricked?"

"Loan sharks?" Rina's brow creased in confusion.

Frank and Hana traded smiles of wry amusement-while they thought Rina was a victim, they presumed she was at least aware.

To think that she was unaware... This was certainly interesting, and those loan sharks were definitely too much!
