Dalton wondered if Wynter truly saw him as a tool. Besides, why did she have to save anyone and everyone?

Dalton lifted his eyes slightly. Whenever he looked at people like this, he always exuded a cold, aloof pride.

Desiree watched him cautiously, not daring to speak. She couldn't figure out what he was thinking.
