My anger exploded. Tears streamed down my face as I screamed, "You're all leeches, losers! You think you're so high and mighty?" Their privileged backgrounds, my quiet attempts to fit in it all came crashing down.

My outburst silenced them.

Fury and malice glittered in their eyes.

"Grace, who do you think you are? I'm only with you out of pity." Antonio snarled, grabbing my collar.

Pity? A bitter laugh escaped me, tears blurring my vision.

"I'm done with your pity." I said, meeting his gaze with icy defiance. "We're over."

"If I hadn't gone abroad, Antonio wouldn't even be with you," Gina sneered.

"Then give him back," I replied, forcing a smile.

On paper. I was his girlfriend; in reality. I was their servant.

Antonio finally saw my exhaustion, his brow furrowing as he studied my face.
