The Rebirth of the Betrayed Alpha

Having Veronica back in the mansion had slowed Alexandra's plans to meet Adams and she didn't have a choice but to lie to him that she was sick and stuck

in bed.

Hearing a knock on the door, Alexandra opens her eyes, glancing towards the door,. All she wanted was to yell out to the person standing behind closed doors to get lost and never return.

"Who is it?" She raises her voice aloud

"Open the door you pretentious little snake" Olivia spat with venom

Alexandra rolls her eyes, standing uup shemolds her fist tightly.

"Olivia, that savage, even on my rest day, she tries to interrupt me" she clenches her jaw, striding towards the door, and flings it wide open only for Olivia to push her out of the way stepping inside.

"Mom told me before leaving that you said you were sick"

"Isn't it obvious" Alexandra states, dragging her legs to the bed, she lays down.

"I don't believe you"

"Well that's your problem"

Olivia scoffs. "I can see right through a pretentious snake. However What I don't get is why put on the act, what are you plotting?"

"Something your porous brain can't contain so don't try to force it except you want to hurt yourself"

"What?" Olivia glares "You sly fox, how dare you speak to me in such a boorish manner?"

"How old are you? No, what is your position? You're just a common Beta. Common so when an Alpha is speaking, you are supposed to bow"

"Are you suggesting that I bow to you?" Olivia laughs unbelievably "Have you lost your mind? Since when is a weak Alpha even considered an Alpha"

"So why do you keep bringing up Nathaniel everytime, it most certainly feels as though you crave for him to be your mate"

Feeling a rush of anger, Olivia rushes towards the bed stand and grabs the glass of water, throwing it on Alexandra's face.

"Speak to me in such a manner and I will beat you up, is not as if you have the guts as an Alpha"

"Does Nathaniel know what kind of weak Alpha you are? Or are you trying to trick him into thinking you are some strong woman capable of leading the pack"

"What?" Olivia's eyes widened, that was a slap to her face

You should leave, I want to rest" Alexandra lays down on the bed, tucking herself under the duvet, she closes her eyes, hoping Olivia would get the hint and leave but Olivia isn't the type to give up. Seeing Alexandra lying in bed, feigning to be sick, Olivia charges towards her and flings the duvet off, slapping Alexandra.

"Stop pretending you wench, there's no one here"

"What is tearing your pants? Told you I'm sick"

"Then where were you going last night before mom caught you"

"Last night?" Alexandra feigns to be in thoughts

"Drop the act!" She yells "Mom saw you"

"Veronica told you, don't get ahead of yourself, her sight is starting to deteriorate since she's aging. The only thing lowering the pace is her werewolf gene"

Olivia scoffs. "You must think that I'm stupid to believe your lies"

"I don't think you are stupid, I know for a fact that you are pretty stupid. believe what you want to just don't disturb my sleep" Alexandra tries to pick up the duvet but Olivia steps on it

"Let go"

"People who are sick visit the pack doctor, why are you in bed?"

"Good question, ask your brain" Alexandra rolls her eyes, trying to control her nerves, she didn't need to set off in order not to ruin her plans and not even Olivia was going to make her.

"Wow! You've grown wings" "Is it perhaps because of Nathaniel? Are you suddenly this fearless because of him?" Olivia chuckles "He's not going to be here all the time"

"Is he here?"

"No" Olivia clears her throat, ashamed

"You seem to be jobless that's why you roam around, if maybe you have a responsibility or job like other pack members, you won't be standing here playing Captain America"

"Captain America? What's that?"

"Don't worry, knowing that kind of thing will hurt your fragile mind"

"Alexandra!"

"Get lost" Alexandra whispers, attempting to pick up the duvet when Olivia steps

on her nail and Alexandra screams she pushes Olivia away causing her to stagger back but doesn't fall.

"For someone who's sick, you certainly know how to scream"

"You wench! Do you want to ruin my nnails I'm not as jobless as you are to spend all day trying to fix it"

Striding towards her, Olivia pulls her by the hair. "Get out"

Alexandra strives, wishing she wasn't pretending to be sick, she wouldn't have hesitated to push Olivia off.

"Let go"

"Get up and come and make breakfast for me" Olivia states,

"Please stop, let me rest"

"Come and breakfast now" she slaps her

"Olivia, what do you think you are doing?"

A deafening silence erupts across the room and Olivia freezes.
