Justin was confident that Renee must be in Jovan's hands. He was eager to confront Jovan.

After all, Justin had long heard about the many crazy things Jovan had done. If he had

kidnapped Renee, she wouldn't be in good condition.

"That's easy." Stefan pocketed his hands calmly. Compared to Justin, he looked unconcerned.

"Do you know where he is?" Justin looked at Stefan suspiciously and criticized, "You're acting like an outsider. You don't care about Phoenix's location at all. Are you a heartless scumbag like she said? Do you no longer love her?"

Justin was excited about his engagement with Renee, and was agitated when she suddenly went missing during the ceremony. He was either so furious that he wanted to fight Stefan, or too worried to eat and wanted to search all over Beach City.

However, Stefan remained unresponsive. He was indifferent, even if Renee was about to get engaged to another man. Though Renee had suddenly gone missing, he remained indifferent. Even when he learned that Renee might be in danger, he was still the same.

As Stefan's rival in love, Justin felt that Renee had wasted her sincerity and love on an unworthy man. With how heartless Stefan was, Justin felt that he didn't deserve her deep and passionate love.

Justin was clueless as to why Stefan could bewitch Renee that way. He wondered if she wanted nothing but to torture herself.

"What I feel about her isn't important. You don't have to sound me out," Stefan said calmly, his face impassive.

Outsiders would probably find him a little too indifferent, but he was composed because he didn't want to fulfill his promise to Justin.

If they found Renee, he had to stop being a part of her life forever, even though he knew that the best conclusion for them was to stop getting in touch with each other. The only thing he could do for her was to stop being a part of his life.

Yet, he could not bring himself to do so. It would be best if he could delay it.

"Aren't you worried that something might happen to her? Your crazy cousin is capable of all kinds of insane things!"

Justin was angry, unable to understand Stefan's composure. He wondered if he was furious because his rival in love did not care about his beloved woman.

It was ridiculous!

"Don't worry," Stefan said firmly. "Jovan won't hurt her."

"Tsk! You're rather protective of him!" Justin snapped, grumpy.

Stefan and Jovan had competed against each other for many years, so it was unclear why Stefan suddenly took his side.

"But you can go to him." After a pause, Stefan added, "He's in the emergency room next door."
