Trapped pregnant with a Billionaire child

missing again

Marco glared angrily at the guards and servants now lined up in the main hall of the grand house. “So you couldn’t find her?” Marco asked, folding his arms and staring sharply at his subordinates, after receiving the report that Letta had once again escaped his grasp.

“I apologize, Sir. We searched around the house, but we couldn’t find her. Some of us were also scouring the woods to find any trace of the lady, and we haven’t heard from them yet,” one of the guards, who was leading the search for Letta, said, making Marco grimace wryly.

“It seems pointless to employ all of you. How could you manage to lose her again? Today isn’t the first time. Should I eliminate each of you one by one to show you what it feels like to lose and vanish from this earth?” Marco said, making the servants only bow their heads even lower, feeling the aura that truly made their bodies tremble just by hearing Marco’s threats.

Marco then turned to Desi, who also seemed to be trembling and fearful. “Where were you when Letta left this house?” Marco asked, making Desi step forward.

“I’m sorry, Sir, I was resting in my room, and I didn’t know that Madam was trying to escape again. I thought Madam was in the upstairs room with you,” Desi replied. As far as Desi knew, Letta had gone to Marco’s room the previous night, and after that, Desi didn’t know if Letta had returned to her room. Only when Desi heard the commotion from some guards who started searching for her did Desi realize that Letta had fled.

“You should have checked Letta’s room more often, even if she was in my room. Haven’t I emphasized never to leave any room for her to escape? Why didn’t any of you realize when she broke that small window?” Marco asked.

“I heard it, Sir, and I thought it came from the kitchen. I thought a servant might be breaking a glass, so I didn’t pay much attention as the sound was very faint when I heard it,” one of the guards said, making Marco clench his fist and grab the guard, delivering a punch to his face, causing him to tumble to the floor.Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

“If only you had rushed to see, we could still have caught Letta. Because of your indifference, we lost that woman,” Marco said angrily, his voice reverberating throughout the room. For some reason, Marco felt his anger was becoming uncontrollable. Perhaps at this moment, Marco felt like killing everyone in his house, but he had to contain his anger. He had to keep searching for Letta.

“Now find that woman, by any means necessary, search everywhere, and I don’t want to hear any more failures from you,” Marco said, causing everyone to return to their respective tasks. Marco then walked to the room where Letta’s small bathroom was located. He pushed the door open and saw the shattered glass still scattered around. Marco glanced at the small closet there, still neatly arranged with Letta’s clothes. This meant Letta hadn’t taken anything except her phone with the cracked screen.

Marco didn’t know if the phone was still usable or not. He roughly wiped his face and was about to leave the room. However, his steps halted when he saw the small bathroom inside. There, still, were the clothes Letta had worn the previous night when she was in Marco’s room. Marco paused for a moment before taking those clothes. They still carried Letta’s unmistakable scent, causing Marco to clutch them before exiting and heading to his own room.

Upon entering his room, his heart felt constricted again. His room was still infused with Letta’s scent. For some reason, Marco wanted to be angry and destroy something. Eventually, the wine bottle that had accompanied him the previous night became his target, and it shattered as it collided with the wall in front of him. Marco yelled loudly before roughly wiping his face. Marco didn’t expect to be so furious after losing Letta. Clearly, Marco was certain of their connection the previous night. Marco was sure he couldn’t lose Letta. It felt suffocating and painful to realize that Letta was no longer by his side.

When Marco heard the commotion from outside and didn’t see Letta by his side, he immediately felt a tightness in his chest. A guard reported that Letta had escaped his grip again, making Marco’s chest feel even tighter. How could Letta decide to leave her life behind once more? After all, Marco was certain he had threatened her with the worst consequences to prevent her from leaving him. Yet, still, the woman was stubborn, as if her life with Marco was the end of everything.

Marco then walked towards the drinks table. There, his various drinks were laid out, and Marco picked one, taking a gulp straight from the bottle. Marco hoped that by drinking alcohol, he could momentarily clear his mind and alleviate his tightness. He didn’t want to continuously harbor such feelings. What he had to do was find Letta quickly. Marco couldn’t let Letta stay away from him any longer.

Marco reached for his phone while carrying the bottle of drink. He tried to contact Pedro. “Hello, where are you?” Marco asked when the call connected.

“Letta is missing again. The guards you assigned at my house are all incompetent, so you have to find Letta, by any means necessary. Look for her around this city and other cities. I don’t know how far she has gone, but I’m sure she’s gone far enough,” Marco said, rubbing his face roughly.

“But don’t let this news spread outside, especially if outsiders find out,” Marco said before ending the call. He gazed back at his bed, where he had spent the night with Letta. The tightness still felt very apparent to Marco.

He felt that one gulp of alcoholic drink wasn’t enough. Marco didn’t know what Letta had done to him. After all, all this time Marco intended to ruin her life. However, this time, it was the opposite that he felt. Marco felt that it was Letta who was currently tormenting him, causing the tightness and pain he was experiencing.
