The Night Demon exploded as soon as the thunder spear struck it, littering the ground with body parts. Wilbur stepped up to the other Night Demon, holding another thunder spear to its neck.

"S-Sure. I'll take you there, sir. But it's very dangerous there, and they have cultivators guarding the place. They could kill you, sir."

"Cultivators? I just so happen to be a cultivator myself, and I'd like to see who's stronger!"

"Alright... Come with me, sir."

The Night Demon took two steps backward and then led Wilbur toward Moda.

Wilbur followed the Night Demon all the way to the border. Just as they were about to get close, Wilbur saw that there was a military outpost set up out here, and all the soldiers there were Night Demons.

They roamed around the base, patrolling the grounds.

Wilbur frowned at the sight. It was important to note that the border was two more kilometers away, and this was still considered Kosanto's territory.

However, these Night Demons had set up a military outpost here and were even undergoing training. Wilbur found the whole thing even more terrifying and wondered if Moda had invented a special medicine that could control these soldiers.

The deserts in Kosanto were huge, so there were few people who lived in the barren lands between cities. There were no people within a fifty-kilometer radius outside of Diseya, and trying to get past that area alone was practically suicide. The sands were baked by the sun during daytime and temperatures could reach as high as seventy degrees. One could die of dehydration at any time. At night, on the other hand, the temperature would drop past negative twelve or thirteen degrees. It would be hard for even the Night Demons to escape from Diseya at night.

That was why Arsi had been so certain that keeping watch over the parking lot would keep all the Night Demons in Diseya and prevent them from causing problems in other cities.

Wilbur was certain that the Moda army definitely had their reasons for crossing the border and setting up an outpost here on Diseya grounds, and those reasons were coming to fruition soon. There was no way they would be able to get away with setting up an outpost here on the ground in plain sight for very long. Even if people hardly came out here, the satellite images would reveal to others what was happening there.

If the Diseya military discovered what Moda was doing, there was bound to be conflict. The Moda military must have prepared for this, seeing as they had gone ahead and set up a military outpost here.

What surprised Wilbur was that the soldiers on this military outpost weren't even trained members of the army, but Night Demons who had caught the mutant virus. It looked like the Moda military was aiming high here, planning to springboard the Night Demon virus across all of Kosanto from Diseya.

Despite not knowing why Moda was doing this, there was no way Wilbur was going to let that happen.

Just then, Tony, the Night Demon that Wilbur had held hostage, whispered, "Look, sir. They've built their base all the way here. The people of Diseya are doomed. You should just give up already."

"I'm not going to give up. I won't let these Night Demons bring harm to the world."
