Tony was terrified. "But sir... their camp's here. We won't be able to get past them

to enter Moda. This is as far as I can take you, sir."

"Fine, but at least tell me why these people are here."

"I don't know. I just know that they're coming for Kosanto, and they're trying to send people into town."

"What? Why would they want to do that?"

Tony seemed to hesitate, and Wilbur pushed the thunder spear further against his neck. Tony closed his eyes and had no choice but to spill the beans. "They're trying to turn off the main power source in Diseya. Once that happens, there won't be any light in there so the Night Demons can attack freely. Three thousand Night Demons can spread the virus to a hundred thousand people in just one night. Then, the one hundred thousand people will spread out to other places and infect even more people."

Wilbur gritted his teeth. "What an evil plan."

"Indeed, it is."

Tony's mind raced, and he said all of a sudden, "Look, sir! What's that?"

Wilbur turned around, only for Tony to take the opportunity to bite down on his arm. Wilbur spun around, and Tony's head fell off his body onto the ground.

Wilbur hid behind a large rock and looked down at his arm. There was a wound where Tony had bitten him, and a black wisp of poison was spreading up his veins. Wilbur began to emit a white glow as the power of light forced the poison out. It was not long before a stream of jet-black, putrid liquid began to flow out of the wound.

Wilbur wiped the wound with a tissue before getting to his feet and headed toward the military outpost. He was determined to kill all of these Night Demons, or they would only cause more problems the longer they existed.

Just as Wilbur was about to reach the camp, a fierce gust of wind blew his way as someone shouted, "Who dares to come close to our outpost?"

Four people appeared in the air, surrounding Wilbur from all directions. Wilbur searched them with his spirit senses and found that two of the four people were at the Sanctuary level, while the other two were at pre-Emperor and Emperor level.

Sanctuary level cultivators were rare enough to begin with, but Moda had stationed a pre-Emperor level elite and an Emperor level elite here just to carry out their plan.noveldrama

It seemed that Moda had put a lot of thought into this, which confused Wilbur. What was the conflict between the two countries, and why would Moda put so much effort into destroying Kosanto?

That, of course, was the least of his problems right now. His priority at hand was taking care of these four guys around him.

The person in front of Wilbur was a man with a blonde crewcut. He seemed quite strong and looked at Wilbur with disdain in his eyes. "Oh, look, it's a Dashan."

"Yes, I am from Dasha. Aren't the four of you scared of becoming laughingstocks of the cultivator circle in the future? Why would you harm these innocent people?"

The blonde man smirked. "I guess there's no point saying much more since you already know what's going on. Go on, kill him!"

The man himself remained unmoved when he discovered Wilbur to be a mere Sanctuary level cultivator. Being at the Emperor level himself, the man did not see the need for him to get involved.
