The Night Demon virus was extracted from a cultivator. That cultivator opened a portal to another dimension and sacrificed himself to the Night Demon.

Black bugs infiltrated his body, which made him possess the powers of the Night Demon. Then, that cultivator was captured by the military by chance, which led to the creation of the Night Demon virus in the end.

The success of that experiment made the Moda authorities think they could change Moda and even the world. Kosanto was the first step. However, no one expected an Emperor level cultivator to appear and throw a wrench in their plan.

Smith quickly drove toward Wilbur. A long line of smoke trailed behind the SUV. Soon, the SUV pulled over in front of Wilbur. Smith and Mackley got out of the vehicle at the same time and approached Wilbur.

Mackley said, "Mister Penn, we finally found you."

Smith said, "Yeah, Mister Penn. I think we should talk."

Wilbur instinctually backed away and looked at them cautiously, asking, "Who are you? How do you know my name?"

Mackley and Smith looked at each other and laughed because they did not expect the Emperor level cultivator to seem so ordinary.
