Mackley ate a banana as he spoke, then threw the peel at Wilbur. Just as the banana peel was about to hit Wilbur, he focused his gaze on it and caused it to pause in mid-air. The banana peel then flew backward and hit Mackley in the face.

Mackley grabbed the banana peel and panicked. He threw it to the ground and shouted, "What? How dare you? I'll kill you!"

Mackley took out his pistol and aimed it at Wilbur. Smith yelled in a panic, "No, Mackley! Don't shoot!"

Bang!

Mackley opened fire and the bullet flew at Wilbur. The spinning bullet was restrained by a powerful force when it was within ten meters of Wilbur. It slowed down and eventually stopped when it was just a meter away.

Then, the bullet was sent back with a powerful airflow. It spun quickly and flew toward Mackley.

Splotch!

The bullet made a hole in Mackley's forehead. Mackley widened his eyes in disbelief before he died.noveldrama

His body dropped lifelessly to the ground. Wilbur turned to look at Smith and said coldly, "It's your turn now. How do you want to die?"

Smith quickly fell to his knees, begging as he trembled all over, "I... I'm sorry... Please, Mister Penn, spare me."

The air around Smith compressed inward, lifting him off from the ground. Smith was scared out of his wits and stammered, "U-Uh..."

Wilbur commanded, "Go back and tell them the Night Demon operation will never succeed as long as I'm here! Scram!"

Wilbur yelled angrily and the strong wind threw Smith ten meters backward. Smith landed on the ground and kept tumbling. He scrambled to his feet and dashed toward the nearby sand dune. He hopped on his SUV and fled as soon as he could.

Vroom!

The engine rumbled. It took a long time before Smith was able to compose himself. The initial shock he felt eventually turned to anger, and he said through a clenched jaw, "That damn Wilbur Penn! I can't believe he dared to humiliate me. If that's how he wants it to be, he better be prepared to die!"

Smith drove toward the military camp and informed the highest commanding officer, Dale, of the failed negotiation attempt.

Upon learning of the failed negotiation attempt, Dale immediately ordered the seven blockades to be prepared for Wilbur's assault. He believed they could end the battle within a minute if Wilbur dared to show up considering they had over a dozen machine gun emplacements set up.

Just then, Wilbur arrived at the outer perimeters of the military camp. He flew in and landed where the first blockade was. Dale immediately gave his order, "Gunners, get ready! You have one minute to empty all your ammo!"

A barrage of machine gun fire ensued.

Over a dozen machine guns aimed at Wilbur and showered him with hundreds of bullets in that very instant. However, all those bullets suddenly slowed down when they were ten meters away from him and eventually stopped in mid-air.

Wilbur emitted a ripple of energy with himself as the center, and all the bullets instantly shot back at the gunners.

Hundreds of bullets flew back at the gunners, killing them instantly before they could even finish emptying their ammo.

"What?"

Dale was infuriated by the sight and shouted, "Damn this cultivator! Snipers, shoot him in the head!"
