Living With My Lady Boss

Chapter 2298

This new information left Wilbur puzzled. In the desert city of Wrecknam, the wells were interconnected, leading to a vast underground space. However, the three wells in Bangsai village were not connected at all, indicating that there was no hidden passage beneath them.

Three isolated wells could not house a formation or accommodate people. This contradicted Wilbur's initial assumption. It seemed there were no guardians in Bangsai after all, and it was just an ordinary village.

Wilbur speculated that the dragon cauldron shard might be inside one of these wells. Yet, during his visit to Bangsai today, he had not sensed the shard's presence near any of the wells.

This realization confused him. Normally, Wilbur's connection to the dragon cauldron shard would allow him to sense its presence. But now, he felt nothing. Could it be that the shard was not in Bangsai or even in Diseya? Had he remembered the location incorrectly?

But Wilbur clearly recalled the mental imprint he had received from the shard, which pointed to Diseya. How could he have been mistaken?

Wait a minute!

Suddenly, a flash of insight struck Wilbur, and his eyes gleamed with realization. The dragon cauldron shard had to be in Bangsai. If it was not in the visible world, then it had to be hidden in some concealed dimensional space created by a special formation. To find the shard, Wilbur needed to discover how to activate this hidden space.noveldrama

He remembered that when he found the first dragon cauldron shard in the Tuttle mine, it was concealed in a secret space crafted by a unique formation. Perhaps the shard in Bangsai was similarly hidden. To retrieve the shard, Wilbur would first have to uncover how to access the hidden space.

As he was thinking about this, his phone rang. It was Arsi calling, sounding unusually excited.

"Hey, Wilbur, great news! Come over quickly," Arsi said with palpable enthusiasm.

"What? What's the good news?" Wilbur tried to ask, but Arsi had already hung up. Wilbur looked at his phone, wondering what could have gotten Arsi so thrilled.

Leaving the hotel, Wilbur headed towards the parking lot. On his way, he noticed the streetlights flickering erratically. Looking up, he saw the lights above him flashing on and off, suggesting a possible wiring issue. This sudden disruption made Wilbur feel an uneasy sense of danger.

Given the context of the Night Demon Project, Wilbur knew that one of their first moves was to cut off the town's power supply. If the power was shut off, the town would be plunged into darkness, making it an easy target for a Night Demon attack, potentially resulting in numerous casualties.

Immediately, Wilbur quickened his pace towards the parking lot. When he arrived, he saw Arsi surrounded by a group of seven or eight young men in his office.

These young men appeared to be in their twenties, sporting dyed red and yellow hair. They were smiling and seemed to be having a lively conversation with Arsi.

"Arsi, what's got you so excited?" Wilbur asked as he approached.

Hearing Wilbur's voice, Arsi turned and saw Wilbur entering. He quickly pulled Wilbur over and introduced him to the group. "Wilbur, these are some wealthy young men. They've formed a racing team called 'Coyote Racers.' They heard we are also into racing and offered to let us join their team if we can pass their test."

"Coyote Racers?" Wilbur echoed, looking at one of the young men. "Are you the owners of those ten Ferraris?"
