Victor let out a howl of fury, letting go of the bow. The blood-red arrow came whooshing toward Wilbur, strange energy forming around it in the shape of a red vortex.

Wilbur muttered a spell, activating the Light of Dragon before punching

downward. The golden dragon shot out of his arm, hurtling toward the blood-red

arrow.

Both energies collided. The dragon let out a howl as the red vortex vanished, and the arrow whistled toward Wilbur with a decreased force.

Wilbur reached out to block the attack with his right hand. The Light Gloves emitted a blinding white glow, and the arrow exploded into a bloody fog as it got closer to the gloves. A few drops of blood landed on the side of Wilbur's face.

"Hahahaha!"

Victor burst out laughing. "Oh, Wilbur, you're far, far too naive. Not all energies can be converted by the power of light. Today, I shall take your life with this Bloodism Bow!"

Victor was nothing but gleeful at the look on Wilbur's face. He pulled the bowstring taut again, and three bloody arrows appeared this time. As he released the bowstring, the three arrows shot out in three directions to form a vortex that closed in on Wilbur.

Wilbur muttered a spell, and his dragon aura formed a huge vortex with a ten- meter radius around him. Ever since becoming Orkot's pupil, Wilbur had gained a deeper understanding of dragon aura and could now easily create a vortex with it.
