The brightly-colored glow appeared above Wilbur's head, enveloping him

completely. The next second, all three arrows struck the Dragon's Safehaven at the same time.

As three explosive sounds rang through the air, the Dragon's Safehaven's glow was diminished by half. This had never happened before, which shocked Wilbur greatly.

The protection of Dragon's Safehaven was supposed to be from the upper dimensions even when it was activated in a lower dimension. It would never be damaged unless attacked by a middle dimension power. Now, however, the three blood arrows had reduced the glow of Dragon's Safehaven in half.

This bastard's powers were of a middle dimension elite!

"What?"

Victor had a shocked look on his face, then glared viciously at Wilbur. "You have the protection of the dragon clan? That's quite a surprise, you bastard. However, you're going to die at my hands regardless!"

He drew the bow once more, and three blood arrows appeared. Just then, Wilbur activated the Iris Veritas, and what he saw shocked him.noveldrama

Victor was basked in a huge pillar of light from the sky that was roughly two meters wide. Countless smaller rays of red light swirled around him as well. The pillar of light was twice as large as Patrick's!

It was important to note that the pillar of light was the power of the Blood God itself. Its effects on Victor made him immensely powerful. However, when Victor drew the bow once more, Wilbur was surprised to see the beam of light enveloping Victor rapidly decreasing in size as the arrows formed.

Wilbur understood everything then. The power of the Blood God was the only form of Bloodism that could enter this world. The Blood God was similar to the Shadow King, in that they channeled a form of their power into a dimension to absorb the energy there into their own body to grow stronger.

The Blood God was currently using his own powers to kill Wilbur. This, however, was also a good opportunity for Wilbur, and he knew clearly what he had to do.

Wilbur muttered a spell at once, and the dragon aura around him formed a white dragon. The three blood arrows struck the Dragon Safehaven next, letting off a deafening explosion.

At the third explosion, the glow of the Dragon's Safehaven vanished completely as Wilbur shouted, "Dragon's Roar!"

The golden pearl melded into the white dragon, turning it golden all over. The golden dragon let out a furious howl, swiping its tail over and destroying the pillar of light that engulfed Victor in half.

"No!"

Victor's expression turned ashen at the sight of the broken pillar of light. His skin began to shrink as blood gushed out of his body. Eventually, he collapsed to the ground as a dried corpse.

Victor, too, had been a victim. All of his energy had already been devoured by the Blood God when he was sacrificed, and all that was left was a shriveled corpse held up by nothing but the Blood God's power. Now that the source of his power was cut off, Victor's life source was cut off too.

Wilbur landed on the ground just as Arsi rushed over to hug him tightly. "Mister Penn!"

At the same time, all the Night Demons outside began to bleed uncontrollably before collapsing onto the ground lifelessly as well.

These corpses had their souls sacrificed to the Blood God before becoming Night Demons, and their flesh and blood had been devoured from the start. They had become puppets of the Blood God and lived the same way Victor did until the end.
