Chapter 1518
Blaze rubbed his eyes, always feeling like he was seeing a mirage. How else could he explain the high-tech scene displayed on the phone?
Mirabella didn't notice Blaze's expression. After locking the location based on the incoming call display, she exited computer mode.
She put away her phone, the coldness in her eyes quickly hidden away, and then looked up at Blaze, "Senior, what did you just say?"
"Nothing..." Blaze tapped his forehead, still immersed in the scene he had just witnessed, "Your phone... it looks very advanced."
Mirabella knew what Blaze wanted to ask but simply responded without changing her expression: "It was just a phone projection app."
A projection app?
Blaze, thinking back, felt it didn't quite seem like that.
Mirabella wasn't in the mood to care about her senior's thoughts at the moment. She stood up and quickly said to Blaze, "Senior, thank you for inviting me to the play today, but I have some urgent matters to attend to and must leave now. We'll get together another time."noveldrama
Blaze could tell that Mirabella indeed had something urgent, so he nodded, "Little junior, don't worry about it. If you have urgent matters, go ahead."
He paused, then added, "Or if you're going somewhere, I can drive you there. It might save some time."
Mirabella thanked him again, "No need, I'll just take a cab."
Seeing this, Blaze did not insist, "Alright."
Mirabella nodded slightly and walked briskly towards the exit, her silhouette graceful, her coat fluttering behind her with the wind.
Watching his junior sister walk away, Blaze suddenly felt a sense of admiration.
Despite not coming from a wealthy family, his junior sister's demeanor was in no way inferior to those high-born ladies.
Bright and straightforward, without pretense, she was indeed likable.

Mirabella walked out of the restaurant and hailed a ride on Uber.
Once in the car, her gaze remained calmly on the passing scenery outside the window, her eyes clear, neither happy nor angry.
It wasn't until her phone rang again that she brought her gaze back,
glanced at the caller ID to see its
ber as it was
the same unknown number
before.
She didn't pick up, instead directly pressing the hang-up button.
The person on the other end didn't expect the call to be disconnected and his face, already menacing, darkened further.
Seeing this, a subordinate asked, "Can't get through?"
At this, a teenager sitting in a corner nearby stopped doodling on the ground and looked up at the two men.
"It's not that I couldn't get through. The person on the other end hung up directly," the man said with a frown.
The subordinate squinted, "Didn't you say that the person had agreed to come?"
Holding his phone tightly, the man was about to speak when the clear voice of the teenager came over.
"Don't worry, my sister will definitely come. She didn't answer your call because she can't be bothered to waste words on you."
The teenager, probably around
fourteen or fifteen, had exceptionally handsome features, especially his which were notably clean and
clear.
The menacing man, upon hearing the teenager's words, turned back to look at
him.
The teenager shrugged his
shoulders, changed his sitting
posture to cross-legged against the wall corner, and nonchalantly said, "Maybe my sister is already close to arriving."
The man's gaze hardened, feeling that the boy's words were unreliable, "Apart
from your sister, where are your family members?"
"Oh, I don't know," the teenager said with a pout.
The man: "..."
What do you think?
