The Double or more Life of the Fake Heiress (Mirabella)

Chapter 1519

The man frowned and gave the young man a closer look. After a moment's thought, he reopened his phone and dialed his subordinate, who was waiting at the prearranged meeting spot. "Keep an eye out; the person might be arriving soon."

However, no sooner had he issued his instructions than the young man beside him let out a light sigh, "I said she's about to arrive, not at the location you directed her to."

The brooding man looked up again, his phone still off the hook, "What do you mean?"

The young man cracked a harmless smile, "Oh, I forgot to tell you, my sister's quite good with computers. Tracing your phone's location to find this place shouldn't be a problem for her."

The man was speechless.

Damn it.

The brooding man pinched the bridge of his nose, feeling his temper nearly bursting at the seams, yet he still instructed the person on the phone to stay vigilant.

After hanging up, he turned to his aide beside him, "Take a few people to the main entrance on the first floor."

His aide quickly agreed and left the room.

The young man watched towards the door, his youthful face showing no fear, instead, there was a clear look of anticipation and excitement in his eyes.

Seeing this, the brooding man was speechless again.noveldrama

Was this the folly of youth, or was it the fearless born of ignorance?

Mirabella paid for her ride and walked through the bustling old street lined with shops, eventually arriving at the end of the road where an ancient European-style mansion stood.

The iron gate had a security booth, requiring identity verification to enter. Standing by the booth were several men in black suits, clearly not your average security guards.

Mirabella glanced over them indifferently before walking towards the entrance.

As she approached, the men scrutinized her, seeing a young woman in her twenties, they didn't immediately connect her with the person they were expecting, "This place isn't for loiterers, best leave now."

One of them said with a cold face.

Mirabella casually tucked her hands into her coat pockets, her delicate facial features exuding an air of nonchalance, "Aren't you waiting for me?"

Hearing this, the man widened his eyes, seemingly in disbelief, "You..."

Mirabella was too impatient to listen to his ramblings and cut him off, "Where is he? Just take me to him."

The man was taken aback, having never encountered someone more arrogant than them.

Especially such a young woman!

The group exchanged looks before quickly leading Mirabella through the gate. They took the elevator to the third floor. Perhaps it was Mirabella's extraordinary aura, but they subconsciously refrained from giving her a hard time.

Reaching the door of the lounge, the leading man knocked first. After hearing a response, he pushed the door open.

Inside, the young man who had been idly drawing circles against the wall corner instantly looked up at the sound of the door opening, his gaze fixed unwaveringly towards the entrance.

His hands clenched tight, he appeared a bit nervous.

He had yet to see her current appearance.

By then, Mirabella had already entered, catching sight of the young man in the corner at a glance.

Observing his foolish gaze fixed on

her, she moved her lips without emotion.

Though no sound was made, the words 'idiot' were clearly understood by Cassie.

Cassie's cheeks twitched, but soon, he cracked a smile.
